Introduction
Sectoral application is a system used by companies to apply for special programs. One example is the safety standard. Every company must ensure that things are running safely and for this to ask a few rules must be placed. The safety of employees should be a top priority in every company. Apart from heartaches associated with workers injury and death, individuals that hurt themselves have the right to sue the company. Such injuries may also make them unproductive, and for this to take place, effective communication must take place for the safety standards to apply (Klikauer, 2017). One way this is done is by sending newsletter or emails to employees to make sure that everyone gets updated on the safety standards every month. Another useful and safest method of communication is by holding regular mandatory meetings for all workers. The toolbox, in this case, is an essential tool because on a daily routine it discusses and reviews about the safety standards.
Communication is an essential tool when it comes to passing a specific message. In this module, the most critical and effective way of communication is the staff meeting. In every business, clear communication is a crucial tool (Klikauer, 2017). Every worker needs to see a transparent and open decision, making need, and process because most discussion affects their daily operations. Even though staff meeting is not typical, they are vital because they have a very positive impact on the business. That is the reason why it is indispensable to put everyone in the picture. One importance of staff meeting is that the employers collaborate as a team by sharing ideas, asking questions, and solving problems. The critical point of the staff meeting is to make sure every worker is involved when it comes to the loop of making decisions. The staff meeting is beneficial to the company when they want to share their goals. This because they make sure that everybody follows every policy without violating or diminishing their morale
On the line of communication, one of the most effective ways that uplift worker productivity is effective communication. Usually, employees are empowered when they are involved in upward communication. In this type of communication, all information released by the company comes back with the feedback from the employees (Klikauer, 2017). This means that managers and bosses can respond and listen to employees, and as a result, it leads to employee job satisfaction. One channel communication leads to issues such as conflicts, legal complaints, poor morale, and inefficiency. In most cases, when the bosses decide to talk to specific employees of the same level, then it lowers employee productivity. As a result, this also brings negative communication which can lead to conflicts among the employees.
Staff training is a prime opportunity that gives knowledge to employees, but most bosses think it is expensive. Employees also don't go top work when going for training, and this delays the projects of the company (Hutchinson, 2016). Even though there are several potential drawbacks, staff training is beneficial not only to employees but also to the company. For this to be effective, the company must train all the staff so that the message can be passed across the board. Another reason why all employees need to be taught is that some employees have weaknesses when it comes to workplace skills.
Accidents take place anytime when employees are at work. It is evident that these incidents are not intentional, and therefore, there are infinite possibilities that something went wrong (Lima, 2015). In as much as people can avoid accidents, certain precautions should also be taken to ensure that the mishaps don't happen. Factors that can cause accidents to include poor lighting, violence, lifting heavy objects, stress, falls or trips, and fatigue. Even though such things can be prevented, they are some of the reasons why accidents take place.
