Since childhood, we do not know the logic behind it though we pay attention to our authority figure. The community has been abiding by authority orders to disdain the use of such drugs, not because it is evil, but because the regulations simply edict otherwise. On the other hand, as people age into making independent and mature decisions, they begin challenging the ruling class and also engrossed in study activities to establish the legitimacy as to why the usage of some drugs is restricted. Though there has been an abundance of heretical doctrines concerning the opposing effects of using Marijuana overshadow the shortcomings.

There is proof that the medicine institutes many benefits not only health-wise but also thriving the country's economy without forgetting crime rate decrease among lawbreakers (lama). However, there are many reasons for the benefits of Marijuana, and this confidently confirms the need for its legality since it has value added to society in numerous ways. The benefits of Marijuana legalization are more compared to how it has been incriminated in the past. However, despite the negative stigmas attached to its use, doctors have been able to identify Marijuana as an active control towards terminal illnesses like glaucoma and cancer. Marijuana is said to relieve cancer patients from pain, and suppression of the chemotherapy caused nausea. The present studies argue that Marijuana has more medical benefits that warrant its legalization for its benefit to human health.

It is medically proven that Marijuana contains cannabinoids and terpenes that co-work defensibly against cancerous tumors (Doris). There are no single manufactured synthetic drugs that have positive medical uses and less adverse effects than Marijuana . It also said to contain the pain on patients with Alzheimer's disease, neuropathic pain and stimulates the appetite for dementia and HIV patients. Therapeutic or Medical Marijuana is healthier than other plant generated medications and is available in different forms rather than the usual pills. There should be a well laid down the law regulating the legalization of medical Marijuana to avoid concerns regarding its authorization and for critics to reap from not actualizing their fears about the drug.

Countless criminal-based reasons are adding up to the legalization of Marijuana. Possession of Marijuana gets people arrested every single day all across the nation in abundance without helping the police department to focus on more serious crimes. Well, Marijuana may be possessed by many people who should be a crime though, the police force is busy arresting people with a natural drug with comparatively minor effects rather than focusing on hurting crimes like murder, burglary, drinking and driving (Doris). Smuggling and foreign cultivation due to marijuana illegality for international criminal gangs are profitable. Thus legalizing it would reduce the money flowing from the economy to criminal gangs.

Marijuana legalization gained momentum over the last years where some US states have legalized it for medical purposes while others are reducing the usage punishment. Undeniably there are several debates on its legalization. In general, crime reduction, economic merits, and medical capabilities facts support marijuana legalization while a hasty generalization and false assumptions drive people who oppose the idea. Despite legalized alcohol and tobacco use, they threaten life more than Marijuana. Therefore, due to the legitimate benefits attached to Marijuana, it is crucial to legalize it.
