In previous sections, the study identified weight, food preference, and exercise as the most likely to influence hypertension in people of all ages. In the current research methodology, we embark on a more critical evaluation of exactly how these three variables affect the rate of hypertension infection.
The method of research employed will be mixed methods, employing the computation advantages of quantitative research in generating data and the insightful properties of qualitative research to come up with new insights on the research topic. Mixed methods is also the most suitable method of conducting rese on the subject because it is necessary to gather both quantitative as well as qualitative data on how body weight, types of food consumed, and the presence and amount of exersise affect the susceptibility of the body to hypertension.
Research will be carried out through a survey with a sample containing people of different age sets, genders, financial backgrounds, ethnicity, and levels of education. These classes are important because they affect the exposure of people in all three control variables. The survey will be carried out in a multicultural metropolis where people from all walks of life can be found with ease to participate in the study.
Experimentation will be done to observe the susceptibility of the test subjects from all identified backgrounds to hypertension at various body masses, food consumption, and exercise. The hypotheses from which the research will be carried is that all three variables affect the susceptibility of people at all ages, from all races, genders, financial statuses to hypertension.
Steps in carrying put the experiment s will involve identifying the sample, acquiring consent from them to participate in the study, briefing them on the study objectives, observing their vital signs to detect the presence of hypertension in their bodies, recording the observations, analysing the data, making observations and conclusions, and finally presenting the research findings.
The collection of data will be done through tests on the subjects and recorded in patient record books. The quantitative analysis of data will be done using SPSS software tools while qualitative data analysis will employ Nvivo data analysis software.
The research questions will include:
- Does the weight of a person affect their susceptibility to hypertension?
- Does the choice of foods consumed by test subjects affect their susceptibility to hypertension?
- How does exercise affect the resistance of people to hypertension?
- Does race or cultural background affect the susceptibility of a person to hypertension?
- Are the rates of hypertension affection the same across all financial classes?
- What gender (male or female) is more likely to suffer from hypertension?
- Are more learned people more or less likely to develop hypertension?
- What preventive measures, especially in lifestyles, can be employed to reduce rate of hypertension affection?
- What medical remedies can be used to reduce the effects of hypertension on patient?
- How does continuous monitoring affect hypertension infection among the test subjects?
The main ethical concerns of this study is that it examines hypertension infection, requiring that some of the test subjects developed hypertension signs and symptoms. This ethical concern will be assuaged by the knowledge that the research is aimed at improving the prevention of hypertension through lifestyle changes among various socioeconomic, political, and cultural groups.
