Introduction
My multimedia portrays my perspective of Te Tiriti o Waitangi as a culturally safe principle of Maori operation are partnership, engagement, and protection, which are set out in the key provisions of healthcare in the New Zealand Policy Strategy. Spiritual link to Human Surroundings, making a foundation, to put genealogy or heritage layers of roots relationships between these two, require one to position oneself in the universe.
I have shown this by a discussion of the modern concepts, using models to assess and guide policy and program development, and critiquing the existing systems and the programs. There was also an example of Mason Durie, which is the most common model and emphasis on the balance between the four dimensions and also establishing nursing assessment tools. The Wairua and the spiritual connection of religious beliefs and practices and every aspect of human life. The sense of identity and belonging in a family, being supported, emotional and material, and social sharing and caring were also addressed.
The visual elements used include; the hinengaro that involves emotional well-being, cognitive functioning, comprehension, and self-esteem. The second is the tenant that is used as a symbol of prosperity in terms of physical appearance, growth and development, nutrition, elimination, independence, and the consideration given to personal space. For the Te were a rose pere octopus, including all its features, was also one of the features used as a visual element. Additionally, there was a structure looking like a house that has been used to describe the connection of the mental and physical well-being, the social welfare, physical well-being, and spiritual how they would all be used on one structure concerning each other.
I have used the colors that closely represent the actual image as they exist naturally to enhance visibility and clarity of the subject of each part of the poem. The choice of images will provide a clear definition to the reader and also improve the level of care that the Maori culture taught me to become best suited to everything that surrounds me, including plants and animals. The connection between people helps in reciprocal obligations as was already through the images as existing, showing the mutual commitments that are entitled to a nurse. People's relation to other non-living things was also demonstrated through the original view of color to identify the objects being discussed.
My images are unified because they are all part of the animals and plants on land. They are evidence of the connection between physical and other forms of relationship between plants, animals, and the people surrounding them. Considering the coexistence between the plants and animals, I used the spiritual, emotional, social, and mental wellness of the plants, especially using the house-like structure to describe how the co-relation exists. They give a detailed and precise description of the relationship as was intended. Additionally, most of the objects used are those living in water, for example, the fish and octopus. Further, people have also been shown to live together also depending on each other, for example, a mother and her child, in the same way, that a patient will depend on the nurse to take care of them during the time that they are not well.
The words I have chosen are relevant because colonization impacted significantly on Maori and their capability of maintaining their Maori world view. Through the strong connection between the cultures of the Maori, there were restrictions and impositions, including breaches that were expressed through the existence and application of rahui. Therefore the discussion created the relevance of the dependence as it will be as I practice nursing.
