Nurses are an important part of the general healthcare system and thus they have numerous roles and responsibilities. One role in which the nurses are involved in is the performance of physical exams and further taking the patient's medical history. The nurse in this regard further added that the roles and responsibilities of the nurses further stretch towards other avenues such as offering counselling and education to the patients. In addition to that, they tend to involve themselves with conducting research which is ideal in the advancement of the practice as well as patient outcomes. This makes the nurses' responsibilities to be an all-round task in the quest of delivering medical care to the patients. The nurse further concluded that it is the duty of the nurses to coordinate care through collaboration with other health administration officials.
The roles and responsibilities of health administrators stretch far and wide in the quest of ensuring that the healthcare's activities and operations run smoothly. Here, I noted that operations management form one of the integral roles that the health administrators are tasked with. Operations management involves all the practices that ensures smooth and efficient running of the health institution among them strategic planning and the formulation of a master budget. Further to that, the nurse added that financial management, human resource management, legal responsibilities and communications roles as being vital roles that the health administrators are tasked with. The coordination of the above mentioned roles are driven towards the provision of support for the employees in the course of delivering their mandate within the healthcare practice.
Nurses just like any other healthcare provider have to work with other professionals so as to make the healthcare experience a success. For a case in point, nurses have to work with all different technicians as well as therapists through collaboration means among them. It is important to note that working with all manner of people may prove to be difficult but the nurses have to ensure that they work adequately for the actualization of this. Working with allied health professionals may prove lead towards the roles overlapping for instance in the physical examination as well as the delivery of medication. However, the nurses and other healthcare professionals should be able to operate within their set roles and make effective collaborations among each other.

Interaction between nurses and other healthcare professionals is an inevitable venture that is constantly taking place within the workplace. In this respect, communication forms the basis for which most interactions take place. Communication has been stated to be the linking factor that can allow meaningful interactions among the nurses and health administrators. In the course of the delivery of roper health care, nurses have been termed as being the full partners alongside other physician and health care professionals in ensuring that the healthcare practice is realized. Such has been accomplished through sharing of goals among the health professionals and most importantly the redesigning of the total healthcare venture. Another area has been through the application of strong leadership skills which has been termed as an important element in the vision of better and transformed healthcare systems. It is through such collaborations, leadership management, nursing research as well as proper healthcare practices that the healthcare system would be transformed to the next level.
