I believe that I can apply this knowledge in handling some of the real problems in nursing practice and develop evidence-based solutions.

Due to the need to search for module articles for completion of the course, I have developed the capacity to search for evidence-based readings on multiple topics and assessing the evidence from all the articles. Therefore, I am able to review the existing evidence-based practices and identify the gaps for future research. I have understood the relevance of integrating evidence-based practice in offering medical services. Therefore, I believe that this competence will be critical in improving the existing medical practices and proposing new changes.

Through the course, I have developed immense knowledge of applying PICOT in analyzing different medical issues such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). I have, therefore, developed competence in identifying problems that require an evaluation and use the PICOT approach to conduct evidence-based research. I believe that this knowledge will be essential in handling and finding solutions for many of the underlying conditions in a real nursing environment and improving the quality of healthcare delivery. Hello, I believe that that the introduction to the Incorporation of Evidence into Practice Course has been enjoyable and meaningful in diverse ways. The course has been particularly important in that it has instilled the capacity to easily find evidence-based articles from the online library for any topic. I believe that the lesson on ranking instruments has also been crucial in developing the ability to evaluate evidence in every article you reviewed and the completion of module C.

I agree that being able to choose a topic of interest in the documentation of evidence-based practice is an excellent idea for the learning process. It develops the confidence to find the right resources and information on the subject of interest for the nursing practice as well as grading the evidence from every source. I also believe that that the course has developed the confidence in applying the PICOT approach in summarizing and evaluating the essential components of evidence-based study. I would, therefore, recommend a continued application of PICOT analysis tool in your nursing practice, especially on issues pertaining to quality improvement. The tool will be crucial in heightening the quality of care you will offer as a nurse.

Having completed the three modules and the assigned readings, I challenge you to apply the knowledge gained in integrating evidence-based nursing with quality improvement as well as nursing research for nursing projects.
