Introduction
The role that the federal, state and local government has as an influence in the health care policy would have to be that the laws of health care are made and created with all three. The federal government has a defined constitutional role in health care. The US healthcare system, local, state, and federal regulation can be used to protect the public health by reducing and preventing disease, preventing injuries, and ensuring the safety of food, water, medical products, and our environment (Braun et al., 2014). They also promote the quality of the healthcare delivered, while also reducing the cost and improving access to care for all citizens.
State and Federal Policies
States are responsible for traditional public health functions, for example, controlling infectious disease, and promoting sanitation. State position to advance general well-being and control human services suppliers depends on the police power. This is the conventional authority of the state to secure public health, welfare, and safety. The government's position over medicinal services depends mostly on the intensity of Congress to manage interstate trade. Different levels of government regulation affecting the health concerns of aging and Alzheimer's disease (AD) have been examined (Tarlov, 1999).AD is the most expensive condition in the nation, and it is the only top ten cause of death that cannot be cured, prevented, or even slowed (Mora et al., 2017). Government authorities declared as much as $156 million had been submitted in financing for investigating on the avoidance and treatment of Alzheimer's sickness. National Plan makes a working power that has what it takes to give first consideration to individuals with AD. The arrangement accentuates the requirement for teaching medicinal services suppliers and drug specialists about the ailment. National Plan likewise grows support for individuals fighting with AD and their families, increment open mindfulness and commitment, and track progress and drive upgrades.
State and Local Policies
At the state and local level, I would like to look at the Rocky Mountain Alzheimer's Disease Center (RMADC). The RMADC Memory Disorders Clinic offers patients cross-disciplinary interactions with practitioners from the neurology, psychiatry, and neurosurgery departments. The focus is on preparing the next generation of doctors and nurses that will encounter this disease.
