The organization that will be examined in this case is a hospital, and I have selected it for it serves a significant section of society providing people with quality services. Additionally, it is easier to access the facility and collect information for the analysis process. The mission of the health care facility is to offer compassionate, cost-effective, and high-quality services to the community. The organization is also working on promoting health care and ensuring that all members are accessing the right medication. It also has the role of educating the physician to ensure that they have the required skills to undertake their obligations. Research in the clinical field is crucial, for it leads to the innovation of effective tools for managing the various ailments.
The vision of the facility revolves around the concept of being an innovative centre that is geared towards advancing the quality health systems and transforming lives. Its philosophy is tied to its core values which are advancement, respect, responsibilities, and inclusiveness. The firm has set objectives that it aims to achieve, and they include the creation of public policies that will support the access to delivery system and health care services. The institution is working on partnering with the local facilities, and this is aimed at ensuring that their performance is enhanced and there is an optimization of care for all patients. The organization plan is to become a leader when defining and supporting new directions for the health care facilities and support systems. The entity's objectives align with its mission to ensure that all the operations of the firm are working towards the realization of similar goals. The management has taken the measures that ensure that the goals and mission are all geared towards the achievement of a similar outcome.
The organizational structure of the hospital is clearly defined, and every person understands their specific duties that they are supposed to undertake to avoid conflicts of interest or duplication of duties. The structure is made of board at the highest level. Next in command are the executives and they are followed by the department administrators. The patient care managers, as well as, the service providers are found at the lower end of the chain of command. The board is involved in the making of high-level decisions, and in this facility, it comprises of experts in the various field governing the operations in this entity. The executives have a role of managing the hospital, undertaking financial decisions, and implementing the various business strategies. The health and medical managers have a responsibility for overseeing the implementation of the entire practices. Some of the people that serve in the executive include the financial officers that ensure that the organization is financially healthy and in a position to undertake its various obligations. The department administrators are compelled to report to the executives, and they have a responsibility of managing the day-to-day operations in their specific sector of operations that they are assigned. The patients care managers fall under the category of supervising physicians and nurses managers who tend to manage a small group of professionals. They have the role of offering direct patient care by ensuring that orders are implemented, and all duties are undertaken by the various company employees. They are supported by service providers, such as doctors, nurses, and laundry workers.
The organization relied on the downward communication flow system where the senior managers usually share information with the subordinate workers to ensure that there is efficient coordination of services among the various staff members. The channel is used to transmit work-related information and details that are supposed to be implemented to ensure that there is efficiency in the flow of activities. Therefore, the junior staff members manage to meet their seniors' expectations and trigger an overall realization of the entity's objectives (Bucata, & Rizescu, 2017). Some of the main responsibilities that are undertaken under this form of communication include highlighting the areas that they need to pay attention, stating the firm's mission and vision statement and giving the work instructions.
The organization chart of this hospital shows the graphical representation of the relations that exists among the officers in this health unit. The ranks of the various workers are also shown, and the persons that are high in the chart are the senior executives that have the responsibility of making decisions in the hospitals. The persons that are in the lower levels are the subordinates, and they are supposed to implement the duties that re highlighted by their seniors. Nursing at the lower end of the nursing chart and they form part of the group that is involved in having direct contact with the patients.
The shared governance is utilized in this health care facility, and the model helps in the integration of the core values that are supposed to be embraced the professional practices. The main reason why it is used is to achieve quality care and ensures that nurses have a conducive environment to undertake their duties, they are satisfied and optimally utilizing the resources available to them. The program leads to the maintenance of hospital integrity. However, governance can create confusion in an entity and adversely affect the running of the unit (Burns, 2017). It is important to note that the shared governance does not mean shared responsibility for decision making. The managers that do not understand this are likely to trigger a conflict in an entity.
The organization relies on the case management pattern of nursing care delivery, and it is used in coordinate the provision of care services, managing the operational expenses and maintaining the quality of services offered in this health unit. The benefit of this system is that it ensures that the patients are receiving quality services leading to effective management of the various ailments (Dal Molin et al., 2018). However, the system has some elements of weaknesses that include discomfort to clients, it is time-consuming, and it makes it difficult to undertake the continuity care.

In conclusion, it can be noted that the organization is empowering the nurses for they are offered a platform to exercise their duties. The measures instituted by the hospital ensures that they have a conducive environment, and they are feeling satisfied. The health care centre ensures that they have optimal resources to undertake their responsibilities.
