1. Verbal education- this is the most common and effective way of educating asthma patients. In most cases patients like one-on-one learning experience from a healthcare professional. In this strategy, I will group my patients and teach them about asthma and its treatment. Grouping patients who share common health problem for education purpose are beneficial; this is because patients can provide social support for each other (Roberts, Velsor-Friedrich, & Keough, 2018).

2. demonstration- this involves practical explanation and exhibition of asthma treatment devices on how they work and how to properly use them. I can manage to do this by using peak flow meters, placebo inhalers and holding meetings to teach patients on the correct use of these devices. Appropriate use of inhaler is very crucial for the positive outcome of asthma patients and therefore taking patients through all the necessary tutorials is important (Chmielewski 2019).

3 House visit- this method may be an expensive way of educating asthma patients, but it is highly advantageous on patient's improvement quality. This method aims to ensure that patients are not just trained on treatment rules and procedures but also to evaluate the environmental condition of a place where the patient lives. This move can help to identify the possible cause of the disease and irritants like dust, humidity and air quality at home. And therefore, additional advice regarding asthma condition about the environment can be given.

Asthma Action Plan

Asthma action plan is also referred to as an asthma management plan; this is a written plan to help in controlling asthma (Salim et al 2018). The patient has different asthma (different in terms level of infection, period and age of the patient) and therefore each patient must have a different asthma action plan. Each plan comprises of a list of possible triggers of asthma, medicines, things to do when flare-ups occur and how to manage.
