Apart from being in a state of good health wellness can also be used to describe other categories of health such as mental health, physical health, social health and nutritional health. Wellness, therefore, wellness is an essential tool that can make one achieve the goals since the diminish of wellness means that the drive for other human activities for happier life will automatically fall. The discussion majorly focuses on financial wellness as part of human social life. Finances can have a significant impact on our lives. Therefore, the financial foundation needs to be created by differentiating the needs and wants to help reduce overspending that may lead to financial bankruptcy which will later lead to wellness stress that will arise due to inability to reward yourself with the finance resource you have.
The society today is judgmental to the personal health of others based on what they can see physically and concludes by them without basic facts. Judgment comes about as a result of looking at the observable features such as weight loss or behavioural activities such as emotions as well as dressing mode. Therefore wellness also depends on what others think about one another since people with low self-esteem will find themselves in the situation of stress due to the thoughts of others. Stress comes about, as a result, maybe what people judge about an individual is, to some extent, true. For example, a person might be suffering from a certain disease such as cancer, but people will judge it differently even though they were not were of his/her medical conditions as the observers are only influenced with what they can see.
Wellness is important in human coexistence in that through physical health wellness is arrived (Williams, 1989). This is because the human body is a machine that needs to be pure for the continuity of life smoothly. The smoothness of life is realized with good physical health and stable financial resource. Physical fitness can help maintain the body to be able to be fit so s to avoid outside judgments that may end up causing low self-esteem to individuals, which it will not contribute to wellness. Mental health among others also contributes to the welfare of human beings if it is realized to control the effects of post-traumatic stress disorders (PTSD) which might come in so many ways which will finally affect the wellness even though so many ways of helping those who have been affected have been developed but still affects a larger group of people in the society (Agger, 2001). Wellness can also be in the form of good nutrition health, and it helped the body to perform its daily tasks healthier and strength to do work is developed, increasing the level of productivity.
Social practices and our idea of wellness have shaped each other in the following ways; Social practices such as income influence the wellness since low-income income contributes to low social status in the society. In the social life, low-income earners experience low social status even their children still be part of the area affected by the low income causing inability to access some basics activities such educational facilities as their social life is, or health is mostly associated with the level of income (Joo, 2008).
Through occupation, the level of prestige, power and status in the society can be determined to give more information on wellness and its relation to social life. For example, when the physical aspects of jobs are observed, they play a major role in wellness influence. People whom occupation is to work in areas exposed to chemicals that might be toxic their wellness will depend on the carefulness and the level of security measures put in place by the work environment or institution to control for the occurrence of accidents in the workplace. It also affects the educational requirements in the society whereby those working in the chemical industries require training that is related to their job. Occupation and income will determine how your social life will behave in the society as a career will shape one's social life due to the level of income as well as the level of wellness in the society.
Wellness influence the behaviour of individuals from the language they speak, food consumed and security wellness is more connected to financial stability. In business finance, financial wellness is the ability to maintain your financial position through the reduction of expenses for an individual to be able to save some of his/her salary for future use. Saving will help to maintain their wellness through the help of work programs to encourage employees to address their financial wellness, which may include discouraging absenteeism in their work as may affect their financial wellness.
Financial wellness has also influenced the individual's way of life, starting from their place of living up to the food consumed, including the areas where they source their products either for consumption or for other uses. In the society this where nature separates the people as human beings lives according to the financial wellness in that the more one is fortune on wellness he/she can be able to enjoy more of the advantages in social life including recognition n in the society.
