Introduction

A strength-based approach can be used in many interventions. It has different meanings that can refer to different types of people. Health care members use this approach to handle various patients with different health challenges; the baseline of this application is to find the solution to a given health problem. By definition, a strength-based approach is all about the individual strength, families, organizations, or different groups that focus on the well-being or rather the health condition of a particular person to embrace positive response (Social Care Institute for Excellence, 2018). The interventions that link with the strength-based approach outlines what is right as well as the wrong thing. The care act concerns the well-being of a person, ensuring a better outcome from the strength-based approach. The two types of strength-based approaches include prevention or even intervention, also known as coping strengths, and are highlighted in this study.

Anxiety is how the body naturally responds to stress. It is a feeling comprised of fear on what is yet to come, either soon or a future purpose. For instance, the first time for an interview can make one nervous hence become anxious. The first question to this research is how to handle anxiety disorder using a strength-based approach. Anxiety can expose people to danger because it is an exact response to fight; therefore, some interventions can be put into considerations to help anxious individuals. The first one is the biological intervention, which happens when the body feels there is a threat. Here is when one should develop a routine for sleep to rebalance the body and the brain again. In conjunction with the same idea, consider nutrition in that stimulants should get reduced and decrease the level of sugar in the body that can trigger a stress response on an individual.

Similarly, taking vitamin D from the sun has been an identifying factor in coping up with the moods (Counselor Toolbox Episode, 2017). It also goes hand in hand with the exercise, which makes the body feel relaxed. Medication, for instance, the use of norepinephrine is among the biological intervention that controls the anxiety disorder. Nevertheless, there are also psychological interventions, such as tolerating the distress to control the anxious body. There is also mindfulness and acceptance; this involves personal acceptance of what is happening in your body that is distress, understand it, and admit to understanding why you are anxious and finally develop a solution (Counselor Toolbox Episode,2017). Relaxation skills like meditation is a psychological intervention that deals well with anxiety. Self-esteem has dealt well with an anxiety disorder since one develops a fear of failure and rejection.

Moreover, cognitive restructuring is as well away by which a person addresses rational thoughts that can develop into anxiety. The same will help one reframe different challenges by using the current strength, last but not least is recreation and relaxation, whereby one needs to create time to relax and make fun at the same time. Finally, this research captures social intervention as the last way in coping up with anxiety for an individual. It involves improving your relationship with yourself by being your own best or developing a very healthy and supportive relationship.

The last part of this study is to identify which intervention stands out best. Personally, psychological intervention still stands out to be the best since anxiety is a disorder that circulates psychological setup. This disorder will not be a disaster when people can know how to reframe or control their subjective nature. The exercise I can practice with clients is building a friendly relationship with them so as they don't feel distressed.
