Guest of honor, University Administration Board, faculty, graduates, family, and staff, it is a pleasure for me to be part of this wonderful celebration, the 55th graduation ceremony at University of XXX College of Nursing. Also, I am honored to welcome the guest of honor, Mr. XXXX and the rest of the guest who are part of this magnificent occasion. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the following people for their hard work and dedication together with the resources they have invested in us to mold us for a brighter future: XXXX, XXXX, XXX. Graduates, lecturers, family and friends we have all gathered here in this momentous occasion for one reason, to celebrate and recognize that our journey has come to an end, and marking the beginning of another. However, I would like to leave you with some few words of encouragement, but first of all let us put our hands together to applaud the success made by the graduates.

You are privileged that you are graduating from an institution that has equipped you to face the dynamic world and to make successful career and achieve major milestones in life. Graduation is the moment of triumph and celebration, and it is a finishing line that signifies the end of one race, and at the same time, a starting point of another race. This time of graduation, you graduates are excited and proud for their discipline and dedication that they invested in their work. Together with the parents and teachers, they are proud too for the role they took in decorating and minting you to become future iconic people. Always remember that, you are entering a new chapter in your life that is mixed with excitement, challenges, opportunities, failures, and success.

It is important that you use the knowledge you are graduating with, to bring transformation to your life and that of others. The institution has prepared you well not only on the academic front but also to take your part in assisting the communities by improving the quality of life. The world major health issues that keep on recurring include environment crisis, contagious diseases, infant mortality, substance abuse, malnutrition, mental health among many others. We have experienced numerous natural disasters, the recent one being Hurricane Harvey, 2017, humanitarian support is in demand as major health issue arises. This is to mean that the health issue and humanity distress are dynamic and you should also be prepared for the task ahead. Your dedication and compassionate is equally in demand, and the world is depending on your success in your nursing career. Every step you take towards saving the life is a step you are taking towards your success. You have been trained to save the humanity, come up with the solutions that affect the society and leave it a better place and your legacy will be remembered in the future generations. Each one you has the opportunity and potential to create a path and set pace that it will bring the difference in the health fraternity. Let yourself free, have some compassion for yourself as well as for others. In life, there is no perfection, since in life we are not competing with one another. Provided that your desire to explore is greater compared to the desire to not screw up, then you are on the right path. A life leaning toward discovery is substantially more gratifying than a life oriented toward not blowing it.

Blunders are the direction of kindness, and you should never stop trying. Take a step and engage in things that incline you towards the big question rather than the things that would diminish you and make you insignificant. Make use of that unique beyond personality that is luminous inside you, and explore more about yourself to bring change. Although the world is chaotic, clear away everything that will dim your glowing part. And no matter how chaotic and corrupt the world is, always remember that there are always opportunities for the passionate individuals like you, who are determined to establish their successful path. One of the paramount gifts that you can offer yourself, solitary, right now, right here in your life, is to decide, without hesitation, is to commit to the journey rather than the outcome.

"You have to give to receive." You will need to surrender the outer part of yourself to gain the inner strength within yourself. To gain what you desire, you will have to conquer your desire. You have to understand that success leads to the big failure, characterized with pride and arrogance; at the same time, failure can lead to greatest success, characterized by learning and humility. If you are ready to fulfill yourself, then be ready to forget yourself. So if you want to find yourself, then you have to lose yourself.

Lastly, I would like to thank you for your time and opportunity to speak to you, and I hope my presentation has been useful, and I would like to wish all the graduates all the best in their future endeavors.
