As an efficient communicator, I need to understand consumer phycology, which is the ability to know what the customers want and dislike. It is calamitous to underestimate the importance of communication in any industry, particularly finance/insurance since it can lead to low productivity, wastages of resource, and low-quality products or services.

In the long run, I want to own a business and become a market leader with unique traits. I want to be an inspiration to others, especially my relatives and friends who look up to me for guidance. I need to understand the nature of my business and customers, when starting up my firm; hence, the degree will serve me well. Regarding culture, people have varying beliefs and practices and this program, will be instrumental for me to gain significant knowledge on diversity and how to embrace it. Currently, successful companies have been mandated to embrace diversity within the organization in order to achieve globalization. Diversity involves appreciating the different cultures, religious beliefs, language, and practices among others. I believe the degree will guide me on how to adopt diversity in my firm. Moreover, the Entrepreneurship and Innovation degree program will educate me on how to maintain a good relationship with other parties involved in a business such as suppliers, employees, and other affiliated parties. In addition to this, the program will equip me with knowledge on the legal requirements (e.g., licenses, tax requirements, etc.) to maintain a successful business. Presently, large organizations face lawsuits that ruin their reputations and reduce their profits due to the costs of hiring lawyers. Most companies face legal action due to ignorance of the grave consequences of their actions. They underestimate the repercussions, which end up hurting the companies' reputations and finances. I firmly believe that the Entrepreneurship and Innovation degree program at USF will prepare me to face legal battles with minimal adverse effects on the company.
