Introduction

Fatal injuries have occurred to health workers due to the failure to control hazardous environments. Prevention through Design is created to promote risk safety, and it has the goal of preventing workers from risks by using late designing stages and developing work stages. Much has been studied about the existing literature to identify various problems encountered in the new construction practices. By designing risks out, the optimal method has been used to prevent injuries and occupational illnesses. Thus, they need control while at work to reduce operations risk (Dewlaney & Hallowell, 2012). For obedience to minimize the occupational hazards, the approach needs to be inclusive when it comes to designing facilities, tools, work processes, equipment, tools, and systems.

In America, the approval of the National Standards Institute accompanies the live performance impartial to strengthen the mission of worker's protection. The management of occupational risks has several key stages that the standard addresses, and the steps include; post-operational, post-incident, operational, and pre-operational and the vocational and environmental safety with health from goals over the long-life facility product. In an emergency event, a place of work mitigating and ensuring protection to the employee can be designed by contractors and architects, only if the first prioritized thing in mind during building development is safety (Toole & Carpenter, 2012).

Prevention through Design ensures patient's and employee's safety as an essential and unique thing in healthcare, which is from where the use of equipment or chemicals to the surgical bathroom and room's location. To enable a safe and sustainable environment, Prevention through Design genuinely has a lot of focus on a few details, it also respects and adheres to already established regulations and standards for the protection of occupant building, thus driving compliance. In the construction industry, there is dust control a current equipment design developed by Strategic Technology Intervention as a solution for dust. A safe foundation can be set as well to avoid fatal injuries in workplaces and other kinds of hazards through the adoption of Prevention through Design.
