Diana is in her last year in Trinity High School she has been eying deeply to join Sydney University to pursue Biomedicine; however, the consequence of a poor eating habit pushes her to her limit quits schooling to battle with the barrier effectively.
After realizing that her model figure has nothing more to offer than unstoppable pain, Diana decided to turn and started practising eating healthy. Nonetheless, Diana had to battle with several hindrances to achieving her goal. At the age of 15, Diana was diagnosed with an eating disorder that developed into the thick darkness of full-blown Anorexia when she turned 16. All was going well for her until she started to experience continuous heart failure; her situation was growing out of hand. The most crucial event that made her decide fully to start her journey it was after she hospitaized for three months. When Diana was discharged, she went home very determined, and that day she comes up with a healthy eating routine. For the first three weeks, Diana followed to the latter the schedule, and she was growing grower and grower. However, she was little by little, getting back to a poor eating habit. This time it was caused by her commitment to her studies. She could spend until late doing her homework and studying and end up without eating, and the next day she could wake up early go to school without taking breakfast. Diana had promised herself to do all possible thing to ensure the next year she secured a scholarship to join Sydney University to go a purse Biomedicine. However, she did realize she was risking her health.
After a month, Diana started experiencing heart failure again, though it was of less intensity, this was like a reminder to her. She discovered that she was back to her eating disorder addictions. She kept on trying to end the addiction of poor eating habit. But occasionally started fainting, and could no longer pursue comfortably with her daily routine, he was tired of Anorexia and bulimia her every single thought and plan of the day. The more she fainted, the more it became a reality to her that she needs to do something about the condition. Since it was becoming a threat to her dreams, this was the darkest period of her life. It reached a point where conducting her studies was challenging and she could not even afford to concentrate in class. The thought of the disease could not leave her alone. Diana was completely uninterested towards life. To her, life was of no use since she could not manage to attain her dream. The only way saw to set her studies aside and dedicate his entered strength to remove the block so that she can see life from a brighter angle. But she did not want to give up her studies due to Anorexia she thought she could try to manage both.
Nevertheless, it even got worse; she was weak to the point that she could not hold a pen and write down. This was when she decided to quit her studies and put her health as her priority. She desired to put a smile on her face; that was all she needed at that moment. She unconsciously became a prisoner Anorexia. She quitted schooling for a year and took a therapy session to help. The harm the disease had to Diana’s body was manifested into several visits to the emergency room. Diana’s journey was not easy. However, she decided that I will not quit until I recover my health back; it took Diana 6 months to start getting better. By the time she left anorexia rehabilitation Centre she was more than to good and purse her dreaming of joining Sydney University.
