Ever since I was young, I have always been drawn to numbers and solving problems. I fell in love with accounting when undertaking associates in Computer Information. It was during this course that I had a unit in accounting that opened my eyes and hence began my passion for accounting. Accounting is not only fascinating but fulfilling. It is said that when you find something you love you will never work a day in your life. For me, accounting is something I love and have a great passion for. It is out of this love that I want to understand accounting further and be perfect. Accounting is a field that never gets enough professionals since there are inadequate and unprofessional accountants. After completing the Master in Business Administration-Accounting, I intend to fulfill my dream of becoming a certified practical accountant. This role will serve as a benchmark where I will get a chance to showcase my knowledge and skills. I seek to grow further and take up managerial positions under accounting and leave a mark in this world. Accounting is a profession that requires more than knowledge and skills. I have a Bachelor's in Science which I got a GPA of 3.47. Besides my academic qualification, I have excellent organization skills which I acquired when I served in the military between 2000 and 2008. Working in the military was a huge bonus as it disciplined me and taught me how to be an effective leader. The military helped me develop a logical, organized, and practical way of thinking which is required in the managerial role.
