A nurse practitioner has a critical responsibility to improve public health and well-being. Their priority is the patients and they are a crucial connection between the ill people and other medical practitioners. Nurses have the chance of working at various stages of practice like staff nurses or advanced nurse practitioners. They work in environments such as operating theatres, patients' homes, military, schools, mental health services, hospices, and dental or GP surgeries. Nurses provide a critical combination of social, emotional, and clinical aid to patients and family members during their period of need (Writers, 2020). Nursing enables a person to impact a difference in individuals' lives.
The activities that nurse practitioners perform include diagnosis, treatment, and consultations. Additionally, nurse practitioners develop, deliver, and explain care plans to the ill people and their families. Also, the nurses must record and handle private health data like administrative responsibilities and patient's improvement and treatment. The main duties and responsibilities include facilitating a health history assessment of a patient and performing physical checkups and screenings (Writers, 2020). Also, they are involved in collecting blood samples from the patients, reviewing and interpreting results, and updating the patients' records like immunization and test results.
Some of the interdisciplinary team members include pharmacists, social workers, anesthesiologists, psychologists, occupational and physical therapists, physicians, and physician assistants. The average salary of a nurse practitioner is approximately $97,083 per year (Writers, 2019). The employment benefits of nurse practitioners include paid vacations, health insurance, professional liability insurance, retirement planning, and allowance for certification. Professional advancement benefits include continuing education allowance, professional leave to attend conferences and registration fees for educational conferences or meetings.
In the United States, the scope of practice differs by state, whereby, some nurse practitioners work independently with no physician supervision while others are supervised although they are trained to practice independently (AANP, 2019). They can initiate and manage all kinds of treatment, prescribe medication, conduct telehealth visits, coordinate care, counsel and educate patients, and request physical therapy for a patient. Nurse practitioners work from on-call to forty or more hours in a week, might work at night, weekends, and holidays if the need arises.

Dear Ms. Chloe
I am writing this letter to show my interest in the nursing practitioner position you advertised on your website. I completed a four-year nursing degree course at NNN School of Nursing in 2019. I have a member certification and I recently applied for a license as a nurse practitioner.
My education at NNN School of Nursing and the skills and experience I acquired at Hope medical facility during my internship will be useful if I am selected to join your hospital as a medical practitioner.
The following is my skills and experience;
Capability to provide care to patients with acute health problems according to care plans and the hospital protocol.
Excellent in offering remarkable help and taking care of patients who require special attention to maintain life quality. These patients include those suffering from long-term illnesses and conditions.
Responsible to analyze and interpret the patient's history, physical information, diagnoses, and medical tests.
Experience in creating medical treatment plans founded on scientific reasons, care policies, and professional practice recommendations.
Additionally, I understand that it is vital to work independently without supervision in a busy health facility like yours. I have excellent communication and problem-solving.
Please review the resume that I will attach and I hope you will agree with me that I am the right applicant. Kindly, contact me through the phone number I provided above for an interview so that I can elaborate more on my qualifications and experience. I hope to hear from you soon.
Yours Sincerely,
