The Daily Times Reader, MOCA modern cannabis dispensary together with the Business Club and the Social Awareness group have come together to present the Let's Do its symposium on the 19th of December 2019. The event will be held at the school grounds between 1600 and 1930 Oclock.

The education and empowerment of students regarding Cannabis and hemp will be the main event of the day. At the same time, a platform will be given to local businesses, educators, as well as the social club members to address their concerns in the field. After that, a marketplace will be set up at the entrance to the venue, while the cannabis education program continues at the next door. This would give the attendees a first-hand experience with the herb as well as the business club members to decide on the venture.

While the main event takes place, a separate two-credit course would be undertaken for the social club members and other interested students starting 10 a.m -noon. 12.30 p.m. - Cannabis Law discussion: Excerpts from industry xperts on what to expect in on the laws governing use and distribution of marijuana in the coming years. Scott of the Scott Law Group, which is among the top cannabis law firms in the country, takes on the adult-use laws going into effect in 2020.

2 p.m. - Afternoon walk: Beginning of a journey to equity for the recreational cannabis talks. The president of the social service group heads this conversation about building social and economic investment in the cannabis industry, with panellists including the market and industry leaders listening and ready to give their take on any issues arising.

3 p.m. - Cannabis cooking: Education on cannabis consumption and cooking techniques. Lessons are given about the different methods of consumption, including sublingual, ingestion, inhalation, and as well as cooking and baking techniques from the food industry experts. The school's cooking club also invited to give their take on the process.
