China's historical civilization started around 1200 BC (Central Intelligence Agency, n.d.). China is located in the Asian continent found to the east of Asia. The geographic coordinates are 35 00 N, 105 00 E (Central Intelligence Agency, n.d.). Business practices in China consist of an analysis of languages spoken in the country, rates of literacy business language and the hours of working in the country. Alternatively, the countries health care analysis includes the situation of health care in the country, the number of patients per doctor and the number of available hospital beds.
The business languages spoken is the standard Chinese with Mandarin being widely spoken. However, different are regions speak different languages such as Yue is official in Guangdong (Language Factory, 2018). In China, people over 15 years can read and write. 98.2 % of male and 94.5% of female can read and write. In 2017 the exchange rate of Renminbi (RMB) was 7.76 per US dollar. 2016 was slightly lower by RMB exchanging with the dollar at 6.67 rates. The government stipulates China's working hours as five days per week at most 8 hours per day. Additionally, the labor law states that working hours per week should not be more than 44 hours (Travel China Guide, 2019). The people break for lunch between noon to 2 pm. However, some few areas in China like Xinjiang have different time frames due to the location on the longitude. In Xinjiang work starts around 9 or 10 am (Travel China Guide, 2019).
The current health expenditure of China is 5.55 of GDP (Central Intelligence Agency, n.d.). There is also a density of 3.63 physicians per 1000 people. There is a rapid increase in health care demand in China due to the large population in the country (The World Bank, 2016). The degree of risks to infectious diseases is intermediate as of 2016. The prevalence rate of people with obesity in China is 6.2 in 2016. Moreover, the density of beds in China is 4.2 beds per 1000 people.
