Introduction
Nurse advocacy position is governed by collaborative expertise, the urge to serve patients and the community at large, and by healthcare knowledge as well as nursing skills. It covers a broad spectrum of experience and what individuals, especially nurses, can learn. From the position and individuals' experience, specifically of nurses and other board members associated, students can learn imperative knowledge regarding best positions and forefront knowledge in the field as much as nursing advocacy is concerned. Within the same nursing advocacy, students and other relevant groups for individual advocates, factors that burn behind people to keep them yearning for the specified position, and challenges that come with such advocacy. It is also crucial to learn individuals' experiences, specifically exposure to those who were in the situation before the majority of students, to discern possible knowledge, and introduce relevant actions. The essay broadly analyses the nurse's concept as an advocate by discussing what I believe to be the drivers of the individual advocate, factors that led the individuals to become advocates, and challenges, among other essential areas of interest.
Drivers for the Individual Advocates
Everyone has personal reasons why they choose given career paths, including nursing and associated positions, and there are always their drivers that keep the urge moving. Before exploring the personal belief of drivers for each of the individual advocates, it is crucial to note those individuals; they are Bethany Hall-Long and Marilyn Waugh Bouldin. The first section covers own drivers for Bethany and what defined the position she was after the most. Some of the main notable drivers of one of the individual advocates, Bethany, include the urge to develop new leadership skills, need to keep up with loaded roles from managerial positions, including meetings, personal interests generated from politics, urge to improve services to vulnerable populations, and push to serve the community members in the region, among other drivers. From a personal point of view, each of the mentioned drivers explains the drivers for individual advocates, which covers Bethany. These mentioned drivers explain Bethany's driving forces and what she wanted to complete, giving more information about her advocacy position. In the context of the interest of Bethany, who tried to improve the services of vulnerable populations in the community, explain primary drivers behind the urge to improve services for the specified population, sensitive individuals.
Accountability, motivation, self-awareness, covers some of the central drivers for Marylyn Waugh. In the case of accountability, Marylin was up to the task and always wanted to complete every assigned task in time. In the context of a concern to meet populations' needs, the earlier mentioned individuals share common reasons in the context of factors that drove them into becoming advocates. To be concerned about a given group's or population's needs means having the ability to recommend or propose specific policies, which has been the case among the shared individuals explaining common factors that led them to become advocates. They had a similar goal of enhancing populations' services by proposing policies and working committees. The urge to improve or enhance individuals' services among people explains or demonstrates one of the factors that led the mentioned individuals to become advocates.
Personal interest among mentioned individuals in the text explain factors that led them to become advocates. Political issues had surrounded Bethany since when she joined college; this explains her interest in politics and what drove her into political positions as well as a factor that explains why she became an advocate. It is more of a personal reason to understand factors that leads individuals to become advocates, especially from a healthcare professional. The ability to influence form one of the leading factors that explain why these individuals opted to become advocates. Some of them, including Bethany, were able to change participants by providing them with the necessary services possible. The move offers Bethany with a prominent position and capacities that made her suitable for the post. The same explains one of the factors that influence her to become an advocate.
Challenges Identified
Each position has its challenges, and they vary from one person to another as individuals experience these challenges differently. Problems encountered by Bethany may differ slightly from challenges faced by Marylin in the same position. From Waugh's point of view, difficulties she experienced in the post she vied in the context of healthcare include limited financial-background knowledge, ability to influence participants, especially in campaigns, and limited experience in running campaigns (Mason et al., 2020). All mentioned factors explain or demonstrate challenges shared by Waugh. During her campaigns, Waugh was in a race with individuals who had proper financial-knowledge forming one of the difficulties she encountered. However, the challenge enabled Waugh to learn other alternatives, such as peoples' health status, to remain relevant in the position. It was challenging for her to influence the majority of people as she was getting in touch on one with the community's members.
Bethany, on the other side of challenges, shared, faced problems such as extensive duties, loaded working-days with 8-12 days, and continuously toss to caring for family, legislative work, and nursing education, among other issues (Gormley 2020). In the context of extensive duties, she had to balance numerous work-duties with the days' time explaining one of the significant challenges experienced and shared. Additionally, balancing between family care and administrative roles or duties cover another problem shared within the text. Since limited time was available, Bethany had a continuous toss of caring for family, and a balance between the administrative and family care was a must. The balance demonstrates one of the challenges shared by one of the individuals.
Challenges Identified with Individuals' Writing
Individuals' problems identified with their writing on a comparison basis varies. The presentation and description pattern mark the main substantial differences among the writers. Some wrote or shared the problem directly, and others shared it in the form of representation within the story. In the case of Waugh's issues and writing, there is a difference in problem presentation as much as writing is concerned. She mentions problems experienced directly and one after another. It includes issues encountered at the campaign and at the competition level where financial knowledge is fundamental. The case is different with the problems identified by Bethany. In her case, Bethany introduces her problems alongside the description of an event, making it hard to trace. In the context of the problem shared, they vary from one person to another.
Even though they are different, there are similar in some cases, especially at the administrative roles. One thing that marks the same struggles between the two authors is loaded days with executive roles. Such means authors had excessive duties that were supposed to complete in time, which explain the problem faced in two sides. The problems come from different fields such as campaign fields and in an area where one of the authors pushed for policy. Waugh had a personal challenge from a competitional approach with other opponents or contestants. Focusing on the analysis of the drivers and challenges, each person or author had sufficient driving forces or drivers. Both Waugh and Bethany had supportive and outstanding personal drivers, where several numerous problems were handled. In the case of Waugh, she experienced limited financial knowledge as one of the issues. However, she managed and went into something that would still keep her on top of the competition. Such a move indicates a positive personal driver that outcompetes challenges. Bethany signifies that same move where, despite challenges, she had the right choice and drivers that kept her or enabled to achieve whatever she opted to complete.
Personal Ways of Expanding Advocacy
Seeking advice from experienced personnel, learning and reading specified stories such as the one presented in this assignment, and an ability to develop personal critical thinking skills explains different ways I can build advocacy. Learning and reading involve studying other peoples' approaches, such as Waugh. It is crucial to learn from such individuals because they can look for alternative ways. In the case of the ability to think critically, individuals can learn from others.

In conclusion, nursing advocacy comes with several areas of interest to examine, including advocacy. Just like other professional positions, nursing advocacy has its problems too, and individuals can learn from it. Some of the factors shared by Bethany and Waugh, among others, include loaded administrative roles or duties, among others.
