I am a passionate individual whose interest in interior design is inborn. My outlook of homes and buildings at large is that they are not just made of their external appearance. Their internal appearance is more meaningful and gives people the comfort and the pleasure that they deserve while inside the buildings. I believe that having the rightly designed interiors makes buildings beautiful and makes people leave with a good impression of the building as well as those of the people in the building.
Having such an outlook of interior design, I decided to enroll for a program in interior design at the art institute of Philadelphia and learned about interior designs for quite a while. I learned more about interior designing while in the institution. I, however, could see the successful completion of the course at the institute due to the internal mechanisms that left it on the verge of closure. My interest in the course could not have died with the closure of my previous school and I, therefore, thought of institutions where I could continue with the course where I found my ultimate choice to be the Jefferson University in Philadelphia.
The University of Philadelphia is an internationally recognized institution that is known to produce high-caliber students in all their courses. My main concentration in the institution is based on the fact that it has committed staffs that are ready to help students in their specified programs. The concentration that lecturers at the university have set regarding understanding the needs of every student the issues they face and come up with adequate teaching strategies that always have a successful culmination. Schooling at your institution will be a pleasure for me as it will give me the skills that I so need. I believe that learning at the university will also expose me to a larger population of both lecturers and students and will as such, broaden my mind concerning understanding the need to be a good designer.
I am a social and outgoing individual who believes that becoming a designer will open more opportunities to meet different people and makes social relations with. I also believe that the skills I will learn at your institution will give me a good start to make more social formidable ties with my clients. I think that your institution can accord me the necessary skills to build lasting relationships with clients regardless of their requirements and descriptions of the products they wish designed for them. As a core fulfillment, I will ensure that I work on my communication and creativity skills while at the institution.
Conclusion
In the capacity of a student at your school, I would wish to be fully integrated into the system. I understand that in the process of learning, students are involved in many activities some being curricular while others are co-curricular. I like social activities and would like to be included in the events as they fully assimilate me into the institution fully. I have interests in both curricular and co-curricular activities as I understand that they reinforce the process of learning. Curricular activities make the learner have a good grasp of the course while co-curricular activities give the learner a chance to learn more indirectly. I will appreciate being assimilated in your institution for the realization of my dream to be an excellent designer to come true.
