Question One
Medical licensure follows numerous processes that make a physician fully viable to medical practice in any state. The primary verification of an individual's document is the first step of the process where your education and graduate training are reviewed. An individual or a physician who wants to apply for medical licensure would also face other methods like the verification of your scores, references, and hospital privileges. It is the second important part of the process that determines which physician would obtain a medical license. Another essential part of the application process is where an individual's current and past grants are made a part of your use. Submission of proof for the successful completion of a medical program is another requirement that the board looks up to and verifies a physician's license (Baldwin et al., 2011). There is, of course, a delay, and it would be essential for physicians to create time to make it easy for their licenses to be processed. From an ethical perspective, licensure is necessary for physicians because it is a measure that attempts to raise the level of quality services in hospitals. Why would people say so? Because licensure forms a distinction between those who can practice medicine and those who do not qualify. Additionally, licensure supports and represents ethical conduct principles like honesty and autonomy (Baldwin et al., 2011). It is equally important to patients because it enhances their chances of receiving quality services from a physician. It would be crucial to note or take a scenario where medical practitioners practice without licensure. What would have happened? Nothing but terrible treatment. Licensure has helped patients from these maltreatments.
Question Two
Healthcare facilities are licensed depending on what they meet as there are requirements. The licensure of a healthcare facility comes after the board that conducts inspection develop an assessment of the need for quality evaluation. The board's approach or its evaluation looks at quality-maintained ability to improve quality if it ensures public safety and establishes entry-level requirements and legal recognitions. Those requirements can be based on what the Joint Commission called the standards development process. The healthcare facility standards are developed from its input that covers health care professionals, providers subject matter, experts, and customers. So, the rule is one of the Join Commission's factors that determine the healthcare facility and its licensure. There is also a Joint Commission's measurement and its performance improvement that makes or ensure healthcare facilities are accredited ("Measurement," 2020). Different types of measures are convened with healthcare facilities like cardiac care and emergency department, determining a healthcare accreditation.
