Each day human beings are required to make conclusions on various topics. Some of these issues regard speeches that may be considered detrimental, components of opinionated advertisements, and the appropriate methods of curbing the rapidly increasing complicated cyber attacks. Once we have sophisticated consideration of these significant issues, then we will ensure that we live in a safeguarded society which is entirely secure. However, if we are to commence from scrape, it is quite challenging to mandate the companies to implement the resolutions solely. The government needs to play its part too to ensure that there are smooth transformations and modifications. Additionally, more vigorous roles for administrators and regulators are indispensable. For instance, in the event of the government modernizing the regulations for the Internet, there can be some preservation of the significant elements regarding it at the same time also shielding the general public from broader ills.

Regarding the internet regulation concern, multiple governments have initiated a range of methods. Some of these methods have significantly prospered, whereas some have failed terribly. Taxation happens to be one of the most common ways to be considered by multiple governments. Notably, numerous administrations have established a competent system of taxation whereby they have ensured harmonizing of the objectives of tax collection, and fiscal augmentation, the conception of job opportunities, and insertion of the underprivileged into the community of information. In contrast, some countries have introduced tax collections deprived through ill intentions, such as wanting to manipulate its citizens and various institutions into closure. Taxation deprived of ill intentions is bound to fail terribly, and this is what these governments have experienced as the years moved along. Additionally, there have been significant campaigns conducted against taxations imposed by governments leading to the failure of the process of internet taxation.

Regulation of user-generated content is another method of internet regulation that numerous governments have considered. Considering the tremendous expansion of social media in the precedent years, there has been some experience of enormous growth in the distribution of user-generated content on the Internet. Based on the fact of sharing of this user-generated content, there has emerged a significant shift and superior focus on the aspect of possession. Several governments argue that if the user allows user-generated content on their website, there is a high chance that anyone is entitled to have a say. Easy allowing of user-generated content submission could prompt malicious users to post unlawful and explicit content. In the process of regulating user-generated content by the government, there is a dire emphasis for users to share their copyrighted material. Failure of any user to share copyrighted content could potentially prompt to the user of the website being held accountable once any other malicious individual does it. In contrast, the resistors of the process of regulating user-generated content have implicated difficulties to governments intending to impose the regulations, arguing that there should be no party that wants to control an individual's substance.

The introduction of antitrust laws by various governments can be considered as another measure taken to regulate the Internet. The antitrust laws are envisioned to endorse and guard competitive procedures in discrete the outline of business or pertinent markets (Markham, 2006). Nonetheless, governments have been experiencing a lot of challenges trying to execute these laws due to the multiple critics that they experience. The rules conceivably squabble that these laws are intended to purely castigate, hold back and burden the most triumphant internet contestants of every market, thus implicating massive damage to competition.

There are numerous arguments for and against internet net neutrality that I would have to deal with if I found myself in a position of regulating the Internet-based on three aspects that include;

Harmful content- It is quite essential to ensure internet users are entirely safe as they utilize the functionalities of the Internet. Notably, this entails dealing with information that may be considered alarming or ill-intended such as hate speech and terrorism-related.

Privacy- Effectual privacy measures and data safeguarding are essential when commencing internet regulation measures. Remarkably, there is a dire need to initiate an internationally harmonized structure that ensures that data are private.

Data portability- Inevitably, data probability can be argued that it hinders internet neutrality. However, it is vital since it ensures that data is able is to be moved from one location to another. The aspect of data probability offers the users an opportunity for preference promoting innovation and competition.

Conclusion

In conclusion, I would also answer the question of change even if I was an internet service provider. Notably, change is inevitable, but this would be based on the intentions and the frameworks put up by the government in power. Regulation of the Internet is vital, and it offers the route to which all countries should follow. Remarkably, with internet regulation, some of the crimes being experienced will be curbed appropriately with ease.
