This means the organization should move into consideration of the importance of services they offer to the patients. This essay explores health issues incorporated by the H.E.R.E. curriculum and reflects on an experience gained from health care organization where immersion is practiced.

Having been in the B.S.N. program working in an immersion environment organization for some time, I was able to management sick patients' airway and worked in operations rooms. I experienced various surgical simulations and also understood the concepts incorporated by passing a needle into bones. However, I experienced multiple health concerns and issues, for instance, physical activity and nutrition for the patients. Taking a balanced diet and generally, proper nutrition is crucial because it is essential for the overall well-being of the patients (Lobelo, Duperly & Frank, 2014). In America, research on health nutrition shows that most people do not take a healthful diet, and they can remain active and maintain good health. Adolescence and youths reported having the least people who do not consume what is recommended by health practitioners (Lobelo, Duperly & Frank, 2014).

Obesity and the case of overweight is also a significant health issue that has affected most individuals. From my immersion experience, I feel this condition can be controlled at early stages for those affected. As a potential health care practitioner, I advise people to eat more fruits, nuts, and also grains to avoid this condition (Lobelo, Duperly & Frank, 2014). Those affected should try to exercise moderately and avoid eating fatty and sugary foods. Those who are already affected should maintain their treatment in lifestyle as they also apply.

Another issue I experienced during the immersion the quality of the environment of the health care organization. Maintaining quality environment reflect vigilance and compassion of improving the quality of service patients are like to get (Phillips, 2017). To ensure environment quality, the health care practice must incorporate interprofessional collaboration where health officers take part in accessing the variety of methods in the organization (Jessica, 2019). To ensure these practices are excellent, there are specific practices that must be considered. For instance, the population of patients the organization is likely to attend in a single day. Technology advancement adopted in the organization matters a lot for accessible innovation and integration. The organization typically should maintain safety climate and culture for the patients (Jessica, 2019).

Conclusion

In conclusion, I believe most the students pursuing nursing practices aspire to incorporate global health careers and opportunities. Therefore I think in the involvement in H.E.R.E. curriculum practices and themes by students, the four main themes involved encourages us as students to reflect on service-learning and methods which might help us in integrating other health care issues. Besides, the topics can also help us in the future to expand global health programs. I believe the immersion program can train clerkship who can respond to individual and community problems by strengthening their ability to work. Everyone should now understand health care is a community issue that needs to be addressed carefully. Finally, we should embrace what Ralph Waldo Emerson said wealth is health.
