Within the APEXPH model, it is designed to kick-start by a local health organization or department while the steps may be taken to others in the community (Center for Disease Control and Prevention, 2015).

Moreover, there are different benefits for using a specific model in accessing a community. In the use of one particular Community Health Assessment Model, it ensures that the program acquires comprehensive information about a community's actual health status, issues, as well as the needs. Also, a specific health assessment model ensures the identification of strengths and weakness to address in efforts to improve quality, increases knowledge concerning specific health and any interconnected activities, creates a baseline on performance to use if creating an assessment plan, and lastly creates benchmarks for public health improvement in the involved community issue. In the involvement of the agencies, they are amongst the top frameworks offering the required service in the communities. For most of them, such as WHO, they deliver activities covering an extensive area coverage in the all over the world providing a reason as to why it ought to be included with a community health assessment. Primarily, all these agencies play a significant role in health delivery, and community care thus should be covered with the involvements of Community Health Assessment.

In setting up a desirable timeframe to complete an extensive time community assessment, it is important to categorize and divide in the evaluation into different stages. Six months is a reasonable timeframe considering that there should be training on what the program will cover among other time-consuming activities.
