Introduction
In Brazil, a government has set aside some of the ways of preventing acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) because more than one million have been found with this incurable ailment. The Brazilian federal government has done various studies through the ministry of health in order to curb the spread of the immunodeficiency virus (HIV). The National program reported the high risk of contracting AIDS to about 27 million of Brazilian. The National program of transmission of AIDS stated that, in the next decade, the Brazilian could have 7.5 million AIDS victims because the virus speeds continuously. The main strategy that has been adopted by the Brazilian government to curb the spread of AIDS is not only limited to the distribution of several condoms to the public but also through creating awareness and campaign concerning the use of condoms to help control the spread of AIDS. This would help the Brazilians to know how to curb up with HIV infection.
In India, the government has also found out some ways of preventing HIV infection. Campaigning for the marketing of condoms and other tools that help in the prevention of condoms is one of the strategies that the Indian government has adopted. Through that, the transmission of HIV has become minimal because the sex partners use these protective tools. The government also created awareness for Indians to help them get protected against such infection. The Operation Research Group and an independent survey group created AIDS awareness in Tamil Nadu by including the AIDS fighters to take maximum advantage of the local culture to get the messages across the country. Also, the other way that the government of India has adopted in order to prevent the spread of HIV is through cinemas, movies, and advertisements of condoms in the countryside.
Differences in the Brazil, India and United State Problems Concerning AIDS
The AIDS cases in Brazil have a high percentage of infected women because they lack female condoms, while in the United States, women have been provided with their protective tools such as condoms, and that has lessened the spread of AIDS. In India, the difference in the percentage of AIDS infection differs for a large range. The states in India are reluctant about AIDS prevention; however, the HIV virus is quickly spreading because they have insufficient preventive tools such as a condom, but in the United States have developed comprehensive AIDS education with provision male and female condoms.
Would the Approaches Described in India and Brazil Work for in the U.S?
The approaches used in Brazil and India do not work in the United States. This is because the uses of protective tools like condoms differs on these three countries, for instance, the United State federal government encourages the ministry of health to offer female condoms in order to prevent the spread of HIV, but in the Brazil and India people do not have safe sex because there is no provision of female condoms.
Ways by Which the London International Group Could Use to Promote Prevention of Aids Through the Use of Condoms Worldwide
London International Group is the leading developer of latex and thin-film barrier technology. It has the successful development of its business core, that is, industrial gloves, Regent medical gloves, Marigold household and, Durex family of condoms, which have a range of supporters. The following therefore are some of the ways used by the London International Group to prevent the spread of AIDS.
Firstly, the provision of drugs and condoms at no or minimal cost is one of the ways that the London International Group could use to promote the prevention of AIDS. Through this assistance, the government of Brazil, for instance, spent $395 million on purchasing drugs to infected people. Also, the Brazilian government purchased cheaper condoms provided by the London International Group in order to prevent further infection of AIDS. With the provision of cheaper drugs and condoms by the London International Group, it has helped many nations worldwide to afford the purchase.
Do You Think It Would Be a Good Idea for Coke and Pepsi to Participate in Condom Distribution Programs in India, Brazil, and THE US?
In my opinion, I propose that the use of coke and Pepsi as a way of preventing AIDS is a good idea among the residents living in India, Brazil, and the U.S. My argument for this is because most of the manufacturing companies use soft drinks to create awareness concerning AIDS. They usually do this by distributing the drugs, which can help them to prevent the spread of AIDS. Also, the bottles of soft drinks contain letters that are linked with creating awareness of AIDS.
