This means that more than 26 million people throughout the country suffer from the condition, this number represents 8.3 percent of the adults and 8.3 percent of children. The statistical report also suggests that there has been a steady increase in the number of people suffering the asthma condition since 1980, the number has been increasing for people from all gender, race and age groups.
