Their activities may consist of direct practice, consultations, supervision, community organization, education, political and social action, evaluation and research, and policy implementation and development (NASW-PA, 2018). The reason why the above are addressed in the video is to solve that social workers need to enhance the number of people who discuss their needs to them. They also need to embrace the responsiveness of communities, social problems, organizations, and other social challenges from individuals.

Perspectives and Opinions Of Social Workers On Social Policy And Issues

Social workers' opinion is not the same because of the social policy and the professional project committed to defending the universal character of social rights (NASW-PA, 2018). The only way they can have the same views is from the perspective, which makes the social policy a contradictory field facilitated by antagonistic social projects and interests to address direct questions related to professional autonomy and specificity.

An Ethical Issue Related To Policy

One thing that can be addressed as a policy is the issue concerning career development. Women, in particular, are disadvantaged when it comes to getting jobs (Hoyt, 2015). ). If they managed to get one, discriminated against, and they would assist them while still employed. Internationally, many people face this problem because of poor policy and poverty. Every nation is dependent on its economy, which is why some countries have poor employment opportunities because of political strategies and issues that prevent the growth of the economy (Hoyt, 2015). Such systems should be stopped to enhance economic growth to allow citizens to escape poverty and thrive. Also, the rules must be replaced with the ones that facilitate professional opportunities and job training for impoverished, disadvantaged people, and to stop discrimination.

Employment issues are tackled with the NASW code of ethics, a set of principles, standards, and values will be used to guide conduct and decision making any time ethical issues are raised (NASW-PA, 2018). With women and work, specific applications, the codes that should be taken into account are the ones that will have positive effects to solve the matter. For instance, the ethical responsibilities can be used because it is derived from the human relationships from the familial and personal to the professional and social.

Work is excellent and essential to everyone, and the scriptures explain how everything created by God is good. When work is conducted well, it develops a sense of personal accomplishment. On a practical level and the Christianity beliefs, work that is not adequately contributed does not help some people but becomes harmful instead (Kim, 2018). Therefore everyone should follow the steps of God and his intention of people to work just as he worked for six days, and the seventh day he rested.

Two Things A Social Worker Can Advocate To Solve The Problem Of Equal Employment Opportunities

The work of a social worker is helping people solve and cope with challenges. Since people face many challenges, the social worker's diverse profession will offer solutions concerning unique career paths. Below are the two ways a social worker will solve the problem concerning equal career opportunities.

General Communication

When one tries to communicate with a person that speaks a different language, it becomes painful. As a social worker, the best way of dealing with employment issues is by having one word that addresses the problems to both the employee and employer (Weiss-Gal & Gal, 2017). It is imperative if both parties understand the strains and gains. Speaks alone cannot solve the issue, but by appreciating and comprehending the ideas and challenges from both challenges (Weiss-Gal & Gal, 2017). To become successful in this, the social worker needs to have unique communication skills that associate the dissimilarities and not the impediments.

Career Growth Development

One role a social worker must embrace is to know the employee's willingness and growth to develop. Without conversation, then it can be challenging to solve the issue. The promotion of career development can only be achieved if the social worker initiates a dialogue between the unemployed and the employers (Weiss-Gal & Gal, 2017). The move is vital because it will increase employee retention. If someone is employed and is going through various challenges, the social worker can then speak to the boss about the objections coming from the workers (Weiss-Gal & Gal, 2017). This way, ambition will not be the urge, but the creation of a company that is embraced in a centered culture that supports advancement and communication.
