The issue of prevention of diseases has led to vaccination whereby individuals are given medicines that will prevent them from contracting certain conditions that may be harmful to them. In the quest to improve health care, many governments have put a lot of focus on vaccination against several diseases. For many years, vaccination has turned out to be one of the greatest achievements in medicine as well as public health. Everybody has to be vaccinated to prevent these diseases from occurring.

Step One: Belief

Some governments have come up with strict measures to those who are against vaccination. One such country is Australia, which has developed "No jab, No Pay/No Play" vaccination policies in order to increase the number of people who are vaccine. According to Beard, Leask, and McIntyre, (2017, p.381), "No jab, No Pay/No Play" vaccination policies states that person who does not take their children for vaccination will be punished, or the children will not be allowed to interact with other to reduce the risk of contracting a disease. Therefore, the main belief is that The Australian Government was right to impose "No jab, No Pay/No Play" vaccination policies. The terms that have been used to describe policy may be clear but not to everyone. For example, there are people who may not understand what a jab means. In this case, a jab refers to a vaccine that is offered to prevent the occurrence of a disease.

The main reason for holding this belief is that because "No jab, No Pay/No Play" vaccination policies is a measure that the Australian government has taken to ensure that all the children are vaccinated against various diseases (Doran 2019). Therefore, it is important for the Australian government to impose the "No jab, No Pay/No Play" vaccination policies because there were some parents who did not vaccine their children. The second reason for holding this claim is that failure to vaccine the children can lead to a major problem in health care. In this case, when children are not vaccinated, they are at a danger of contracting several diseases that may affect their way of life. Therefore, the government of Australia was right to create policies whereby parents who did not take their children for vaccination would be punished because this would help to reduce the rate of health care problems. The third reason for holding this claim is because vaccination will help in reducing the risks associated with various diseases.

The reasons that I have presented are easy to understand. For example, it is evident that some diseases do not have an appropriate cure (Salmon, 2006, p.56). Therefore, it is essential that vaccination should be carried out to prevent these diseases. Also, when a person is vaccinated, he or she is being prevented from contracting certain diseases that may be a risk to their lives.

Most of the reasons that I have presented in support of the policy that has been developed by the Australian government would fall on radical. These reasons are meant to bring immediate changes, which in this case, is to prevent certain medical problems from developing (Joint Press Release 2015, p.1). Therefore, when the strict measures are enforced to ensure most children have been vaccinated, the rate of infections will reduce.

In regard to the supporting changes, my opinion is termed to be radical. In this case, the evidence is focused on making sure that immediate change is brought, which is to increase the number of children being vaccinated.

According to this policy, a parent who does not take their children for vaccination will be punished because they are endangering their life.
