Introduction
Perineal care is the type of service(s) rendered to a patient with the aim of easing their conditionand state around the anal and genital area. This type of care or treatment relies on the intervention from medical practitioners through different means and methods to patients who require assistance and guidance around these particular regions. This procedure prevents burning, odour and itching infections.

He or she analyses the type of infection, causing discomfort for the respective patient. The patient is carefully questioned in order to provide adequate information that can be reliable in the treatment process.
Background
This stage focuses on studying the background as to how the patient got infected in the first place. Medical-based data and information is reviewed, paying keen attention to past conditions and even allergies as this knowledge is essential in assessing what action to be taken consequently.
Assessment
At this stage, the perineal care is more specified in a way that the medical team narrows on the most appropriate action to be applied. Chapman & Durham, (2010) assert that at this level, the medical practitioners are able to state the reason behind the condition as information based on the assessments and findings guides this respective process.
Recommendation
The health care medical expertise provides directions and measures in which the patients should use during the respective healing time frame. Weaknesses are addressed in order to ensure the patients are able to familiarize with basic tips that can aid their day to day nature of their respective pains.
