In this case, as a nurse, I would form an excellent patient-nurse dyad to help the patient to open up concerning stressing issues in her life. I would later advise the patient about the sanctity of life and means to overcome challenges through faith, prayer, and patience as enshrined in Christianity (Adib- Schaffer, Sandau, & Missal, 2017). I believe incorporating behavioral therapy with Christian values would help her avoid suicidal thoughts.
