Vaccinations to children are safe, and it is considered as one of the most significant progress of the current world; this is because in the century that we are in, a lot of diseases, which includes polio and smallpox, are prevented, and the lives of children all over the world are avoided. Vaccinations have been there for centuries, and the side effect of it is infrequent. Since a long time ago, children have been undergoing vaccinations, thus protecting them from many diseases, thus being an advantage of the vaccination. However, there are claims that the youngsters' bodies can deal with the conditions without the children being immunized, of which there is no proof about it.

Vaccinations

According to the "American Academy for Paediatrics," vaccination in childhood can prevent infections at a very high percentage. It states that the vaccination process prevents up to 99% of all the child's disorders. In the United States, vaccination saves over 2 million lives annually, making it desirable (Mostafapour, Mehrnaz, Samantha, Meyer, and Scholer6750-6759). On the other hand, according to the "Centre for Disease Control," these drugs and vaccines carry a lot of allergic substances, which can cause a side effect on a child's life. According to CDC research, the allergic reaction can only occur in one child, over a million of them. Due to the condition's rareness, there is no established cause and prove that vaccination has allergic reactions to children.

Another great advantage of vaccination is that it protects the community at large. At this point, it means that when there is an outbreak, and the community is vaccinated against the disease, it means that the spell will occur, but the majority of the community members will be protected from the disease. The ones who cannot be immunized due to age or undergoing chemotherapy will depend on the community's immunity. A good example is when there was an outbreak of measles in some parts of the United States. The students who were affected were quarantined, thus reducing the spread of the disease. The opposition states that vaccination may contain some ingredients which some community may be considered immoral (Vasanthan, Givenchy). They say that some of the combinations that make up the vaccine are harvested from two dead fetuses aborted in the early 19460's. Vaccinations for chickenpox are manufactured using animal products like the African Green Monkeys, the insect cells, and even the chicken's eggs, thus claiming to conflict with the vegetarians. In my opinion, animal products are used to save a human being who has dominion over all.

Ingredients and Substances

The ingredients and substances which are used in a vaccine are in the right quantity and quality. It is dictated as being safe and secure in the amount used. Some substances used as vaccine ingredients like aluminum and thimerosal can be harmful if used in large amounts. Still, they are used in the standard quantities to make a person's life unthreatening. Apart from that, there are other sources from which aluminum can be obtained. Children who are breastfeeding are exposed to more aluminum in breast milk than the one they get from the vaccines. So the right quantity of the ingredients in the vaccines can never cause harm to the life of an infant (Ramirez, Kathleen258-272.). Excess of it is said to cause some damage, which is related to neurological factors.

On the other hand, Formaldehyde, an ingredient found in some vaccines, is said to be a chemical. Much exposure to that chemical has a probability of causing stress to the human body, such as changing the cognitive functions to a higher level and even can cause death. The fact is that the substances used as ingredients to making the vaccines are all subjected to quality check and are ensured to the excellent standard before they are released for use.

Another thing in support of the vaccination is that it protects the future generation. The mothers who have taken a step forward in getting immunized have minimal chances of passing the infection to their children, causing congenital disabilities (Morante, Roser, et al.). When a community is vaccinated, the future generation has very high chances of surviving from the outbreak. An n example is when an outbreak of rubella; in other words, the German measles caused the death of 11000 children and caused the congenital disabilities of over 20000 children in three years. When the rubella vaccine was given license in 1969, the women who got vaccinated had the least chances of passing the infection to their children, thus keeping the future generation in a safe mode (Stevens, Megan, Ruminski, and Goodpaster).

Profit

On the other hand, a congressman named William Posey, back in 2014, stated that the two pharmaceutical firms should not be allowed to manufacture vaccines in any way. He based his argument that the firm's primary reason for manufacturing the drugs is to profit and not care for the human being's life. According to Posey, the relationship between the pharmacies, the government, and public health should be cut off. Some government officials from the center of disease control work for the vaccine makers who are the pharmacies, thus creating a conflict of interest leading to poor vaccines. Posy's argument is not justified whereby the vaccines' manufacture is subjected to quality check before the release.

Conclusion

In conclusion, vaccination in both adults and children is so important and should be encouraged. The opposing party has less truth, thus making it weak. As we have seen, vaccination has many advantages than disadvantages and has very low chances of occurrence, which is equal to zero.
