There has been a major cause of aircraft accident all over the globe. This accident is usually deadly and can result in loss of lives and properties worth millions of dollars. For instance, Cabana Flight 972 Accident recorded the second deadliest aircraft accident killing 112 passengers on board. Whereby the survivors were left with critical injuries that led them to succumb to their deaths. (Glass,2013) The incident happens near the airport just shortly after it took off. According to the witness, the aircraft makes an unusual turn and also there was fire on one engine before it crashed down. According to the investigation from National Civil Aviation Authority, the causative allegation points out to the Global air unworthiness, safety records, and the maintenance. Moreover, there was a follow up of suspension of the flight planes and crew due to issues concerning crew overloading the destined plane with a lot of luggage and improper stowing of the plane. Certainly, there were human-related factors for causative of the deemed accident. Perhaps, airplanes should be viewed as the man-made component and structure for transportation. (Glass,2013) Human also is the core controllers of these airplanes and aircraft. Therefore, any mistakes or error they make may result in a fatal outcome. There are common human factors that can lead to an accident occurring. These factors have also emerged to be accident causative agents for many airplanes. The essay seeks to discuss the human-related factors that can lead to accident causal.
From the incident of the Cuba airline, it's important to note that human factor played a significant role in the cause of the incident (Graham, 2015). Human factors that can cause a plane crash include; poor decision making that can be brought out by the pilot and his co-pilot, maintenance and also aircraft supervisory are some of the human factors which can cause plane crush (Whitefield, 2018). It's important to note Cabana Flight 972 Accident it's not different as a human factor had a major impact on the cause of the incident. Pilot sometimes make the decision or in most cases errors which cause aircraft accident to take place these error result from in most cases it's the poor physical condition or even having a physiological tolerance (Whitefield, 2018).
According to the investigation, human factors played a major role in the cause of the accident. Report from the DGAC suggested that in the days of the plane crash the cabana employee brought about the allegation that airworthiness, safety, and maintenance were never paid attention to (Whitefield, 2018). There was a report of overloading the plane with so many luggage's and but they also failed to stow the pieces of luggage properly. There was an allegation which shows how poor they handled the plan which was made from a Facebook post which said that the global airline opted to stop renting plans hence the plane was never properly handled (Whitefield, 2018).
According to the investigation that was carried out by the Cuban government suggested that the airplane crash was in most cases caused by the human errors and failures on the side of the pilots. Led by the investigating specialist of the IACC there were so many analyses of the human factors but they could never be concluded (Graham, 2015). The former pilot suggested that the plan company flew the plans in a very unsafe condition and hence there was always the chance of an accident to take place. This resulted in the suspension of the company to carry out further investigation. The report suggested that the pilot of the plan lost control of the airplane which was the route to Havana (Whitefield, 2018). From the report of the cause of the accident that was realized on July suggested that the black boxes that had been recovered showed evidence that there was a major pilot error that had been shown evidence that the crew took off from the airport at very steep angle of plane ascent hence brought about major aerodynamic problems that hence caused the plan to crush (Graham, 2015). Considering the magnitude of the different factor that led to the plan crush explain that the pilot was to blame for the incident.
Conclusion
In conclusion, certainly without any doubt human being has been the creators of all the running machine, in this case, we are discussing aircraft. The human psychological and behavioral aspect which comprise decision making, situational awareness, fatigue is considered to add on the accident causative agents. (Saad, 2017) Despite a lot of automation, there are probabilities of failure. However, there are ways in which this kind of accident could be reduced to its minimal occurrence rate. This could be achieved by raising standards of the crew and pilots this is due to the human error which is usually the largest single factor that is responsible for mist air commercial accident. Raising their standards would safeguard against failures due to human. Another aspect is the mandatory retirement at the age of 60. (Saad, 2017) As a person continue to grow old energy and activeness reduces, there is progressive deterioration that affects both psychological and physiological aspect which usually come along with age. Hence, allowing the pilot crew of above this age can be fatal since there could be a likelihood of irrational decision making can happen. This act sees to reduce reoccurrence of accidents.
