Introduction
Heart Diseases and stroke are the vital problems that have resulted in a high mortality rate of the Colombians. Cholesterol and lack of body exercise widely cause the diseases associated with hearts. It is also from the food that people eat; they are prone to illness and need to be addressed. High rates of deaths caused by stroke and heart failures and other related disorders are the main reason why I have chosen the health problem. Therefore it is an area of concerned and need to be urgently addressed to correct the condition.
The high population affected by the disease include 29% of the population, with approximately 70 million people suffering from hypertension, and other 73million have low lipoprotein cholesterol. It is clear that the United States spends roughly $515.7 billion in treatment of the health problem. Therefore it is a public challenge that needs attention from the Government as well as non-governmental health organizations. Through the research conducted in the address of the issue, prevention status report indicates that some methodologies and actions need to be implemented in the address of the health problem.
The disease can be managed and reduced following the implementation of approved health records as well as establishing a collaborative drug therapy management. In conjunction with that, heart diseases and strokes may be decreased through rewarding team-based care as well as executing clinical decision support system. The cost reduction on treatment of the disease is essential in managing its growth and devastating killing. Therefore the community health workers are asked to reduce the charges on the disease for effective termination of the situation. Through the strategies to reduce the impact of the disease, it shows there is room for improvement of the situation to better.
Some of the challenging factors in the implementation and reduction of heart diseases and stroke include poor communication to those concerned in community health as well as private health facilities. Also, the implementation of successful electronic health records may be hard ("Prevention Status Reports", 2019). It is because not all hospital and can easily be linked in data sharing of the patients. The improper coordination between non-governmental health clinics and public health facilities is tough to implement. Also, the authorization of pharmacists to offer subsidized services to specific patients has a lengthy procedure to implement thus ineffectiveness.
Through creating the causes of heart diseases and stroke are is one of the factors that support the reduction and improvement of the condition. Also, the Government initiative to reduce the cost of treatment is a supporting factor. It is through Government that provision of incentives and services toward implementation of the collaborative drug therapy ("Prevention Status Reports", 2019). Generally, the focus of the Government is to ensure that citizens do not consume sodium compounded food. That, therefore, is one of the elements that can regulate the intense effect of the disease ("CDC - Prevention Status Reports (PSR) - Overview - STLT Gateway", 2019). Therefore the Government is the central factor that supports the reduction of the devastating heart diseases and stroke.
The other steps that will be needed for improvement of the condition include:- A creation of a public platform whereby heart diseases and strokes can be addressed as well as their causes of the diseases. Also, the platform should outline the prevention measures against the diseases.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the high rates of the mortality caused by heart diseases can be reduced through the implementation of the high linked electronic data on patients. That will lead to proper track of the disease existed and how to manage it at the early stage of its development. Similarly, it has been acknowledged that through collaborative drug therapy policies, physicians can regularly visit a pharmacist for health care, thus reduction of illness serious. Therefore it is the right means of improving the Colombian health status as well as reducing heart disease and stoke effects.
