Introduction

The picking of a topic is a significant and accountable step in writing academic capstone projects. It is essential not to make a grave mistake since it can lead to messing up the entire project. It should be noted that the right topic will aid in writing an outstanding capstone research paper hence getting a deserved high grade. High-quality topic ideas will give a possibility to demonstrate the knowledge and skills gained via the course. Therefore, this step should be approached carefully. It should be remembered that a good Capstone topic should be clear and concise. In stating a clear and crisp Capstone topic, I will make sure I use simple descriptive words to convey the message I am attempting to pass. Also, I will make sure the theme is brief and to the point by avoiding too much wording. Thus, I do state clearly and succinctly my Capstone topic by narrowing down from a broad one to simple and brief one (Beeler, 2012). The general Capstone topic of my project is "Critical Infrastructures of California State."

Interesting and Relevant Topic Portions

The fascinating and pertinent topic portions are the primary classification of transportation networks in California, such as roads, rail, air, and sea transport. I consider the different means of transport because when considered differently, they will provide a clear picture of the transportation challenges in the state of California. I do find it as a relevant part of the topic because we use transportation every day; for instance, while traveling form the campus, going to the market, visiting the city park, and friends. Therefore, I feel it is an essential portion of the topic because it deals with my real-life experience on the road.

Aspects Presentation

I want my order to present various facets to be divided into three parts, that is the introduction, body, and conclusion. In the introduction, I want to introduce the aspects in a concise and precise manner in the preparation of the significant thing concerning them in the body. It is in this part that I desire to grab the attention of the reader to make him want to read more about the topic (Developing outline, 2011). A clear thesis and purpose of the Caption project is something I want to stress on the in the introduction part. The various aspects of being introduced in this part are the utilities, transportation, and infrastructure vulnerability and protection in California.

In the body section, I want to discuss in profound the various aspects. It is my desire to handle them one by one, beginning with the utilities followed by transportation and infrastructure vulnerability and protection. Here all the arguments are in support of the thesis statement (Developing outline, 2011). Under services, I want to illustrate the Public Utilities Commission of California that is a regulatory agency responsible for controlling the privately owned public utilities in California State (Utilities and Industries, 2020). An excellent example of the services that I want to put into consideration includes telecommunications, electric power, water companies, and natural gas.

Under transportation, I want to dig deeply into the road, rail, sea, and even air transport. I desire to consider the challenges that California's transportation system faces on numerous occasions and how to solve them. Finally, I want to look at the infrastructure vulnerability and protection by focusing on how dedicated is the Critical Infrastructure Protection Division in identifying, prioritizing as well as protecting critical infrastructure and assets of California. Also, on how much (CIP) is dedicated to safeguarding the essential infrastructure information. It is throughout all stages of emergency management, and the Critical Infrastructure Protection Division works in coordination with Federal, Tribal, Local, and State and private sector partners to improve (CIP) efforts.

In the conclusion section, I want to restate my thesis and research questions. Then, I summarize my arguments as justified in the body part (Developing outline, 2011). Notably, I explain the reasons for coming to this particular conclusion. Finally, I desire to mention the value of my project and the worth of the results to future researchers.

The Relationship of Ideas

My ideas in the body part do have a casual relationship that makes them be one but existing in different descriptions and versions. The association in my thoughts is that they all argue in support of the thesis statement of the study (Developing outline, 2011). Every idea is in favor of critical infrastructures of California State. They relate to one another in that they are all aimed at answering the research questions. Also, the concepts are related in that every single thought leads to another. It is because the Caption project is designed in a systematic manner that enhances the flow of the argument at hand.

The Topic of Current Interest and Importance

My theme of discussion is of present interest and importance in California and worldwide because it focuses on the issue that has proven to be an epidemic in many nations. No matter the effort, the government of different countries in eradicating the accidents on roads and aircrafts, the issue remains to be a significant threat. Therefore, the topic of my Caption project is of great interest in the current and also substantial since the findings will aid in understanding better the utilities and challenges being encountered in the transportation sector of California.
