Choosing the right career requires one to put enough thoughts into the evaluation process to make the informed choice from thousands of available options. For this reason, I acknowledged self-assessment of my values, interests and soft skills being critical to draft the list of good fit occupations. Doing so was necessary since I believe that career takes up a majority of the productive life and its irreversibility makes in-depth exploration critical to secure occupation fit. The pursuit of the right career mandates evaluating beyond remuneration by exploring for satisfaction and derived value alongside the qualifications required and development opportunities.

My career evaluation featured a seven-criterion comparison weighted to their importance, derived value, and satisfaction. Salary, education and security clearance occupy the pole position to influence my career choice while work schedule, advancement, duties and experience accounted for ten percent each as captured in Figure 1 above.

The superiority of careers in information technology is evidently a vital component driving key sectors. The global endurance to computer-driven operations stimulates a high growth opportunity for software designers and programming architects. Although cybersecurity features similar work schedule, advancement, duties and security clearances, it commands the lower salary than information technology careers. However, it offers superior security clearance than in environmental science careers. Pursuits of information technology career orient one to more experience only matched by environmental science it being a field-based profession. The multiplicity of deeper knowledge in environmental science explains matched performance in all less salary criterion.

Research findings demonstrate information technology careers being an invaluable part of today's' dependence on computerize operations. The value attached to their contribution reflects educational excellence in computer science. According to US Bureau of Labor Statistics (2018), programming designers and engineers should nurture their skills in college programming education enriched with progressive PC programming abilities. Their invaluable contribution warrants the higher compensations than other professions. The extended integration of computer-aided functions across many sectors makes software designing and programming engineering a high growth career platform.

The necessity to secure the information systems triggers a high demand for computer security agents. The development of cyber insecurity meets the sophistication of computer abilities. It explains increased demand for computer forensic experts mandated to restore cyber and digital forensic discipline. The pursuit of cybersecurity careers continual replenishment in computer forensics and knowledge skills. The digital forensic experts and cybersecurity developers earn lower than programming engineers, increased cases of computer-aided wrongdoings (Harrington, 2014). Again, the destructive nature of cybercrimes makes the pursuit of cybersecurity a big fortune and source of satisfaction from securing the critical infrastructure.

The role of environmental science is critical to ensure human prosperity while restoring nature against the threat posed by human activities. Such reflects in Figure 2 below showing environmental science careers seconding the information technology programming engineers.

The specialists serve a stewardship role stretch across conservational, pollution reduction to advocacy duties on environmentalism. The attention on climatic changes makes environmental scientists efforts important to counter masses of destructive development (US Bureau of Labor Statistics, 2018). Their input was drawn on enhancing social and ethical wellbeing in the environment, hence guaranteeing a rewarding and satisfying career to address the faults caused by industrialization and encroachment on natural resources (Sharp, 2003). However, environmental scientists role still exist as a low key field compared to focus on information and technology sector. The value attached to restoring ecological wellbeing matches my expectation as a satisfying and value generating beyond self-gains.

The integration of technology in environmental science is evident beyond conventional use in science communication and scanning to provide remediation input on existing challenges. Such techniques include the Drone River remediation featuring sensor network of drones fitted with real-time monitoring and gathering call information to speed up disaster prevention. The technology demonstrates viable incorporation of artificial intelligence to resolve environmental challenges autonomous through data visualization (Haikara, 2015).

Artificial intelligence presents significant challenges to environmental scientists without sufficient know-how of its application. Again, the provision of expert judgments is prone to computer errors evident in other fields including inaccurate input data and sabotage (Bates et al., 2016; Wayner, 2014). It presents faster technology-aided multi-criteria decision analysis to overcome weaknesses of traditional remediation methods. The use of technology-aided remediation is prone to the risk of human errors during input data and manipulation during data collection. Again, it faces likely sabotage from hackers evident in other systems manipulated by cybercriminals to give misleading information (Bates, et al., 2016). It mandates deploying continuous system audit blend with cybersecurity to protect it from cyber criminals.
