I have a strong educational background and practical experience in teaching young children, but most of it has always focused on the age of 7 and 9. I understand that grade 1-6 elementary education involves students up to the age of 12. I have therefore identified a gap that needs to be filled by pursuing the graduate degree in elementary, early childhood education. Whole I may consider myself effective in handling children up to the of 9 years, I may not have the required knowledge in handling children between the age of 10 and 12 years and more. Through this, I hope to become a productive and successful elementary teacher who will be contributing positively to childhood development.
