The implementation of the project would help to the refreshment of the classrooms, furniture including the advancement of both the software such as network infrastructure and hardware. The London school is also interested in extending; they are expected and perceived experience to another school within London and in future wants to be the center for benchmarking that other schools can always consult and to produce excellent and well-equipped students who are exposed to the current and trending technologies in education.

Goal Definition Statement

The goal of the project is to update the learning environment with the constantly changing political, social and technological environment. It also aims at enhancing effective cooperation between the surrounding community and the school (Atkinson, 1999). Moreover, the main focus of this project is to strive to be the leading learning institution in the world with a better learning environment that produces excellent graduates who would be competent in the job market.

With this project in place, we expect to:

Project Initiation Document

Mission Statement

The goals and sets of values promote the vision and are set out in the Value for better learning environment: the first goal spells out the definite need for favorable outcomes for London School. Objectives

The QAHE'S remit is to make recommendations for sponsorship by the Managing Director but in cooperation from the Director of Cooperation to facilitate the project of the refurbishment of teaching rooms and computer laboratories in London campus. However, the concept of improving the learning environment is not limited to classrooms and computer laboratories only. The project will emphasize on budgets for the for the more technologically advanced equipment to be installed in the laboratories and the classrooms.

The QAHE will address the following:
  • Engage them with the ministry of Education, create evidence base and collect data and further research on the international standards of educational settings and London experience
  • Determine the available alternatives and analyze each one of them based on the risks, benefits, and cost.
  • Address the Assessment criteria such as the eligibility, prioritization of resources and financial sustainability, and also accountability approaches.
  • Identify and determine the most efficient and effective systems to monitor and evaluate the outcome of the project.
  • Take into consideration the supports to administer the project from the experts and also considering the role played by the campus.
  • Determine how the current budget and resources can be reconfigured as part of the implementation strategy and transforming the London campus.
  • Report to the Managing Director on the progress of the project at every stage.
  • Recommendations and subsequent implementation will require Government approval and the educational sector.

Underpinning laws may be needed to implement the new school equipment in the classrooms and the laboratories and also the introduction of quality assurance to ensure quality and safety of the purchases.

QA Higher Education (QAHE) task force structure

The project will have two major components:

Strategy Team: responsible for the development of an implementation process for the school project.

Advisory and Consultative Team: for giving advice and input as demanded on essential items arising during the work of the Strategy team.

Both teams will meet in plenary session at the initiation of the project and significant interval stages. This will provide opportunities for engagement and the dissemination of information. Interim and final reports of the Task Force will represent the collective views of both components of the project's Task Force and thus incorporate significant themes arising from any more extensive consultation and the Advisory team.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Project Strategy Team

In line with the commitment in the Program for Partnership Government, the strategy team implementation representatives within the school.

The Role of the Strategy Team

Is to check on the evidence, evaluate alternative options, and then present the most preferred choice for consideration by the Managing Director who is the potential sponsor of the project. Moreover, it will be the duty of this specific team to deliver on the agreed work-plan of the program.

Terms of Reference for Strategy Group

To regard the significant factors of a framework for implementing the project with an initial emphasis on QAHE-funded refurbishment services of the classrooms and computer laboratories of the campus such as a practical application process; assessment of need; eligibility; scope of supports and services that could be funded with such budgets; and accountability; supports to individuals students to get conversant with the various changes; and also the complications of the projects.
