Introduction

The diagnosis most probable result is asthma disorder. I suppose this following fact of the descriptive symptoms explained by the patient. Asthma is a genetically inherited disease, and therefore the woman must have inherited it from her father. Furthermore, the tightness of the chest, shortness and running out of breath, history of random experiencing the symptoms, and is gradually worsening in times of spring weather are significant signs of an asthmatic patient. Following the environmental and health analysis, it is most likely, almost to a surety, that the woman has asthma disorder.

Human rhinovirus is the pathogen responsible for the woman's asthmatic disorder. The pathogen is dormant in the body and causes effects when triggered by foreign substances (Israel & Reddell, 2017). First, the asthmatic pathogen in the case of the patient in the case study operates under a mechanism of allergic infection. The patient lives with a cat from which she probably breaths its chaff from the body, and fur, which in turn triggers the pathogen activation. In springtime, the weather is cold, and humid air is a suitable environment for the asthma pathogen (Israel & Reddell, 2017). Secondly, the Human rhinovirus pathogen has a mechanism of affecting the lungs, which in the patient's case has weak immune due to smoking, thus triggering the disorder with the symptoms coming as a weakness of the response by the body.

I expect the patient's result for the pulmonary test to have a low lung volume and a high air resistance due to the excessive mucus blockage in the system. The mucus is produced as a reaction mechanism for the body, low nitric oxide levels due to the chest tightness and inflammation of the lungs resulting from a lack of oxygen. Reduced diffusion capacity and arterial blood gases arise from the blockage of the alveolus by the smoke of cigarettes (Irivin, 2020).

In the care of the patient, first will be a schedule for medical treatment to help minimize the occurrence of the disorder's symptoms. Afterward, a counseling session is essential to educate the patient on the need to stay warm during springs, stop smoking, and avoid interacting with animals to the point of breathing their chaff. To achieve this care plan, I will refer the patient to a psychiatrist and a substance rehabilitation center. Also, I will advise her roommate wisely to ensure minimal cat interactions with the patient, her clothes, and beddings.
