Some of the key issues used in the research were "Primary health care" and "correspondence." More than 4609 records were reviewed to identify their contribution to the literature review concerning the effectiveness of communication in healthcare. Most of these records contained information related to investigations and physician work time.

Results were obtained from 69 articles which were reviewed in the research (Vermeir et al. 1266). These results showed that poor communication results in negative outcomes in a healthcare setting. An example of such outcomes includes the provision of medical services which are of poor quality and compromise of patients' health condition. It was concluded that caregiver should be trained on how to improve their communication skills to improve their services.

A literature review was conducted in this article using documents from different sources such as CINAHL and MEDLINE (Silverstre 6). The articles used were focused on nursing delegation in the United States of America. The fact that information concerning the delegation of nurses is limited made it difficult to obtain relevant articles in this study. Results from the literature rereview showed that communication is improved through the effective relationship between nurses and their delegate (Silverstre 12).

Guidelines for delegation were reviewed in this article. It was suggested that delegation is employed to provide a clear direction that should be followed by nurses (Silverstre 14). The understanding of health care facilities is also enhanced by such delegation. The responsibilities of nurses must be understood during the process of delegation.

Nursing Unprofessionalism

Nursing unprofessionalism is experienced in different medical organizations. Nursing professionals are expected to treat each other with respect to preventing conflicts. Nurse managers should be responsible for the behavior of their subjects. Teamwork should be enhanced by professional behavior.

In this instance, a nurse is caught treating a graduate nurse with unprofessional conduct. Yelling at a fellow nurse is treated as unprofessional conduct due to the effects on self-confidence. In this article, bullying is the type of nursing unprofessionalism which is reviewed. Employee violence should be prevented to ensure that all nurses are productive. The consequence of the instance was that the nurse who was responsible for the violent conduct lost his job. The nurse manager advised her nurses against such type of violence (MacLean et al. 34).
