Introduction
At a healthy living, the eighth developmental stage, which occurs from the age of 65, there is less productivity from an individual. However, the isolation of persons in this stage due to the quarantine period of the COVID 19 pandemic is unfavorable. Such persons, especially the infected ones, have less energy to capture the fulfillment of strategies towards their death. Most persons of this age can only develop through satisfactory health status, proper nutrition, housing, and priority nutrition (Masters, et al., 2006). All these factors of integrity have been made an unachievable dream to them. At the seclusion housing, they have poor health conditions, including attendance that they would not prefer. Also, the victims have fear being wiped out by the disease before they interact with friends and relatives to give their final words and share out their property. Their welfare and the expenditure of their resources is not in accord with their development plan- they are most likely to die sorrowfully without accepting their death (UN, 2020). Guilt is created to the minds of victims as the seclusion makes them lonely and indeterminate to stress and depression over past incidences. As Erik suggests in his theory, this developmental stage is waving, and the integration of extrinsic factors is straightforward (Erikson & Erikson, 1997). The ego to these old patients is a washout, and they remain desperate for love and compassion.
This developmental distorter is an alarming issue. If I handle such a case, fulfilling the integrity dreams of these old fellows is vital. Caretakers can give freedom, which is the best action, in this token the liberty will be through allowing and encouraging them to have a personal schedule to their day during the quarantine session by also ensure a very strict health checkup (Masters, et al., 2006). Having the best offer for meals that are on the victim's desire will help them feel in the proper place. More so, the relatives will have to be visiting the old ones randomly, even though contamination and direct interactions be avoided. Having these environments, these individuals will have their way of happiness and accept that even if there is a probability of them dying, they have attained what life ordained them (Guy & Stern, 2006). They will share out their words and distribute their belongings to their satisfactory beneficiaries.
