Introduction

Climate change is the phenomenal weather interference in terms of temperature, rainfall, and other atmospherical conditions over a duration of time. The effect of climate alteration may include an increase in sea levels. That is due to the elevation in temperature, causing the ice and glaciers to melt. Other impacts are physical impinge, i.e., effects on weather and land, wildlife and nature, regional impact, humans, violence, and effect on the economy.

Effects on Weather

Climate change has a major impact on the weather with global warming due to adverse heat. High temperature leads to evaporation, leaving dry land. Night temperatures have risen rapidly, as do the temperatures during the daytime. Waves of heat that contain tremendous humidity are becoming more intense (Gurmu 6). Global warming also impacts tropical cyclones, but they depend on the region.

Climate change has affected the land by causing floods. That is due to increased rainfall since there is more water vapor leading to heavy downpours. In return, a flood causes famine and drought due to the destruction of crops, increase in population and growth of urban areas. The warm climate causes the bushes, soil, and leaves to be dry, leading to a wildfire that burns for days without going off after they begin. Some countries, such as Australia, have reported bushfires.

Cryosphere

The cryosphere is the part of the earth where frozen due to very low temperatures, and it is majorly covered by ice and snow. Global warming is causing these areas to reduce gradually over time. Due to the increase in temperature, these areas are becoming warmer, leading to melting (Rabinowitz 16). Areas such as Antarctica and Greenland are filled with these glaciers, highly sensitive to advancing climatic changes.

Climatic change has various impacts on the ocean. The sea levels are rising because of thermal expansion, the melting of ice, and glaciers. The ocean serves as an air purifier by taking up carbon dioxide. However, due to increased carbon dioxide levels, it has led the ocean to be toxic. There has also been a deduction of aquatic life nutrients in the ocean layers as the ocean has accumulated carbon; moreover, it has become difficult to absorb heat.

Ocean Ecosystems

Climate change and global warming harm coral reefs. Coral reefs are a site where an organism naturally occurs, and multiple species exist. Due to global warming, coral reefs disappear, which is essential to stop fishers from excessive fishing. Coral reefs also provide a habitat for aquatic life (Palani and Senthilraja 316). Due to climatic change, there are wide and massive deaths of sea plants such as mangroves.

Regional Effects

Regional effects vary from place to place and are never constant. That is because the temperature varies in different areas, such as ocean currents. There is mostly melting of ice in areas with high temperatures, unlike in other areas with varying conditions. The ocean currents it affects due to moisture and the flow of air in the atmosphere. That may cause an increase in the volume of water in the ocean and an increase in tides.

Effects on Human

Climatic change has also harmed the human lifestyle and way of living. Climatic change has led to the greenhouse effect and harmful gas emissions. In some areas, it has led to displacement due to flooding. Climate change has also caused an increase in deadly diseases due to harmful gases. It has also affected the economy of various countries since the tourism sector is also affected.
