Most students listen in classes while doing other tasks, while others listen without doing what is required to attain good grades. In an individual based context, it becomes a struggle for students learning because he/she is less actively involved in observation and conversation during classes, therefore not learning corresponding skills to pass. Additionally, lack of organization, especially to students who have ADHD and LD, is a reason why studying and completing tasks becomes a struggle because they lack the strategic and planning manner approach of academics.

Having strategy instructions from teachers will help a student with steps and elements for successful implementation of study skills strategies. A deficiency in the same can cause slowness in copying teacher's notes from the board.
