General education refers to a kind of training that puts an individual in touch with the original knowledge outline for a given period (Hanushek et al., 2017). On the other hand, career education prepares people to cope with the changing environment to enhance the relationships between the community and schools. The paper reflects on Human Resources Management as a career field of my desire. As a result, it illustrates five skills that I have obtained from the course which will enable me to emerge victorious in the job. Additionally, it demonstrates by giving examples how the knowledge and skills achieved from the career has shaped both my professional and personal development. Lastly, it describes my plans towards putting my education to apply within my surrounding community.

Skills I Have Obtained Through the General Education Courses That Will Make Me Successful in the Job

I have gained the following skills from my education in human resources management which aims at facilitating my success in the position. They include:

Examples of How My Newly Acquired Knowledge and Skills in Human Resources Management Have Shaped both My Personal and Professional Development

The skills mentioned above and experiences have developed both my professional and personal growth in several ways. For example, I can maintain competent personnel by establishing good relations with both my workmates and the entire society. The other case involves where I can provide material satisfaction to the staff's needs by creating a proper alignment between their intentions and goals of the organization (Oke, 2016).

My Plans for Putting My Education to Use within My Community

My projects for establishing training to use within my locality involve nurturing and improving both the talents and skills of every individual in the society. Secondly, I plan to attract, motivate and preserve human resources by providing better approaches to handling any situation that arises within the community (Wehrmeyer, 2017). More so, I aim at achieving higher results of collective efforts from community members conduct by reflecting on their desires (Navimipour et al., 2015).


In conclusion, Human Resources Management entails essential information that helps me to emerge victorious in my job. Some of the skills I have obtained include negotiation skills, organizational skills, problem-solving among many others. However, the skills help me to set better plans to apply my career within my society.
