To pursue a successful nursing career, a candidate must demonstrate relevant competency by passing in respective examinations. Candidates are expected to prepare themselves adequately to enable them to obtain impressive results. The outcomes of the results are a clear reflection of a nurse's practitioner knowledge and skills. Adequate preparation for exams is touted to provide candidates with a better framework of attaining their organization goals. Candidates can only achieve efficiency if they can consistently practice on how to improve their results. An ideal plan should incorporate adequate frameworks for going through reviews, listen to audio CD's with the academic content as well as go through relevant guides on Intensive Nurse Practitioner reviews. The ideal learning guide would have a question and answer content and a detailed step-by-step explanation of all the questions and their answers. Practice leads to perfection. Thus, the process of being successful in the exams may be attained through the reinforcement of the learning process through consistency.
The learning plan will involve learning of about three days a week at the library. The studies are expected to provide a reliable framework upon which relevant knowledge would be grasped on how to amicably respond to questions during the exam period. Similarly, the study plan will entail going through relevant reviews at Forlaterdale Florida to help furnish me with adequate information on how to maneuver through the exams. The study guides from Barkley reviews for FNP will also be instrumental in the formation of an efficient learning method that would boost personal responses to the exam. Similarly, the Maria LEIK Intensive Practitioner Reviews will form a pivotal part of the reading requirements as well. The studies will play a critical role in the formation of critical opinions formulated (Buppert, 2015).
The reading process will involve going through various topics that entail the delivery of quality nurse services. Firstly, the readings will mostly focus on the essence of ethics and how it applies to nursing. Insights indicate that the more conversant a nurse is with the nursing ethics, the more likely she is to analyze situations and move forward to deliver quality services (National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties, 2011). Ethics are a critical component of the nursing practice as they provide the framework upon which all decisions to deliver quality health services are formed (Wood, 2015; Burlington, 2016). Similarly, ethics provide a ground upon which nurses can make informed decisions when attending to the needs of their patients. The approach used in attending to a patient is dependent on the understanding gained from the learning process (O'Connell, Gardner & Coyer, 2014). It is imperative that a nurse identifies the most reliable strategy for learning to meet their academic requirements. The readings will provide an ideal method to respond effectively to critical care environments.
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN's) play influential roles in the provision of relevant health services. APRN's have advanced education, training, and certification in particular areas of practice. Georgia's APRN practice laws are more restrictive compared to those of other states in the U.S. Despite experiencing acute shortages in the number of available physicians, Georgia still operates very stringent rules on its nurses. Firstly, the law in Georgia demands that nurses cannot write any prescriptions for schedule II medications (Pearson, 2014). Moreover, nurses in Georgia are limited with regards to ordering diagnostic tests (Farrell, Payne & Heye, 2015; Cho, 2016). The leaders in Georgia believe that the only way that Georgia can serve its patients better is by limiting the capacities of the nurses. The nurses responsibility only runs to the full extent of their education and training. There have been several calls necessitating the leadership of the state to allow nurses to practice by being given the authority to prescribe medicine, order radiographic imaging tests, MRI and CT scans in non-emergency situations (Chism, 2016; Kleinpell et al. 2014). APRN's are nurses with an advanced academic level and are thus capable of delivering the needs of patients as is required. Allowing APRN's to fill the gaps experienced in the healthcare system provides a framework upon which health professionals can share knowledge, skill, and expertise. States ought to help their patients by giving them leverage that reflects their academic development. APRN's are much more qualified and can flexibly adapt to new models of care that guarantee the creation of an ideal health environment (Nettina & Nettina, 2013). The fact that Georgia is strict in permitting its nurses to perform their responsibilities to their full extent of training implies that its exams may also be too restrictive and competitive. Thus, learners must adequately prepare for the exams to demonstrate competency.
In conclusion, adequately preparing for the exams provides an ideal platform upon which learners can enhance their competencies for their respective careers. A successful student is more likely to demonstrate competency in delivering the desired standards of providing health care services. Well trained nurse practitioners have better capacities to respond to the needs of their patients compared to those that do not. Adequately preparing for exams is a distinct methodology to enhance the competency of a nurse to respond to their work needs and those of their patients. For nurses who intend to work in in restrictive states such as Georgia, it is imperative that they develop amicable methods to respond to the demands of the exams in question effectively.
