Introduction
Parents experience difficulties in determining the difference between true and healthy behavior in children. Behavior among children tends to vary between kids. Also, the gap which exists between abnormal and normal behavior in children matters depending on expectations and degree. Normal and abnormal behavior depends on the stage of child development since they are exposed to the different ecological condition. The social construction of a child tends to vary their intellectual growth since it becomes affected by social and cultural backgrounds. Whenever a parent understands their child's developmental progress, it helps one to accept, interpret, and adapt to their kids' behavior. Also, children have a unique variation depending on their development, temperament, and behavior. The different forms of behavior in kids can be either tolerated under specific conditions, others cannot be reinforced, or others are approved and wanted. Therefore, due to continuous variation in behavior among children, this paper will determine how the culture of a school, community college, or Universities reflects on my cultural beliefs, values, and skills.
How Culture of my School, Community or University Reflects on My Cultural Beliefs, Values, and Skills
The culture of schools and communities plays a vital role in a student's life. For example, through societal culture, one can attain the social and academic skills to be used in the future. Since teachers and students come from diverse backgrounds, one learns various aspects that promote their academic success. Also, interaction with others in societies helps an individual to negotiate their distinct norms that are related to their community. Therefore, the caring school and classroom environment allow students to grow academically and socially.
Consequently, value education affects the behavioral and moral development of a student. For example, one gains the ability to perceive and think about issues that are either right or wrong. Students can take account of their actions through the knowledge acquired from schools, communities, and Universities. The child's character is believed to develop from a natural, social, and just atmosphere. Therefore, schools cannot avoid being included in promoting the values and skills of students since they absorb knowledge and also impacted by formal instructions and their unintended side effects.
Additionally, schools and universities help one to recognize their learning challenges and the formal goals that are present in affective, cognitive, and social domains. Some of the learning goals, such as cognitive development, are expressed in the structured curriculum. Also, the skills obtained in societies and schools allows a child to become an active citizen, thus participating in activities presents in a community. Some of the principles that would enable student reflection are participatory citizenship, personal growth, and individual integrity.
How Similarity or Disparity Affect Your Ability to Succeed
The difference in language used by teachers to describe the students tends to affect one's performance in classrooms. Through the use of different languages by teacher causes confusion among learners, thus affecting their understanding level. For example, the use of labels such as silly while describing students can automatically stick, hence altering one's performance. Also, the teachers can make the curriculum to become relevant in schools as it impacts a student's academic performance. The use of an appropriate curriculum allows students to reflect various experiences, questions, and histories regarding their lives. Therefore, through the linkage of subjects, films, activities, and different activities among students can either improve or decline a student's performance.
