According to this response, the author agrees with the need for learning health care system because of the benefits it comes with it. Learning healthcare system allows easy movement of information regarding patients from one organization to another leading to improved quality care (Smith, M. D., & Institute of Medicine (U.S.). , 2012). The author also adds that as a result of learning healthcare system, the providers will improve their readiness of taking on cases of patients.
What would be the advantages and disadvantages of the learning health system? Explain
Learning the healthcare system come with advantages as the patients' welfare is improved. According to the author, sharing patients records from one facility to another focus on improving the patients' health. The author points out the demerit part of it is the overall transformation process, which is, however, outweighed by the positives of sharing patient's information.

According to this response, the author agrees and points out the need for leaning health systems justifying that having better access to the medical records leads to a better understanding of conditions and issues relating to patients. The author also notes that the providers are currently heading on this direction of leaning quality healthcare systems.
What would be the advantages and disadvantages of the learning health system? Explain
The author points out the advantages of learning health system to comprise of all-inclusive look at all of the care that the patient is receiving and has ever received. However, the author notes downside being too much information that is associated with it, which is however easy to sort. Also, with the use of the EMR system, the author adds that such applications make the work easier although in case of a mess, fixing may be a problem (Kabene et al., 2011).

Also, exercising the healthcare system improves outcomes of healthcare and leads to better delivery to patients. Moreover, the outcomes of the learning healthcare system may be used for the application of knowledge to understand the correct choices and ways of improving the quality of patients' care (Niles, N. J. 2014).

The author points the advantages of the learning health system to comprise of applying the improved outcomes for new knowledge, improving quality of care delivery, and decreasing health care costs. Additionally, learning health system may lead to avoiding errors during the exercise. The author points out the disadvantaged part of it and says that learning health systems may be expensive.
