Personality traits get construed as the qualities that differentiate people. They may also be opined from the dimension of behaviors and characters which are embodied in an individual. Some people may also say that they serve the purpose of representing a person's emotions and temperament. The paper is, therefore, premised on the discussion of three character traits that would help someone understand my personality. They include extraversion, persistence, and self-confidence.
I am generally an outgoing person who loves associating with friends, meeting new people and sharing ideas. It is because of this that extraversion as a trait best represent my personality. The trait depicts how social and outgoing I am. It is also worthwhile to note that extraversion may be opined from a high and low dimension. The former fits the description of my personality and my enjoyment of the social gatherings.
The other character trait that would help in the understanding of my personality is that of persistence. The trait refers to the action which involves perseverance even if the future is uncertain. It is equally coupled with the courage of moving on and believing that there will be light at the end of the tunnel. It is one that many people lack due to its calls for a massive investment of time until the objective is achieved. My personality is best understood through its explanation considering my life basic philosophy. I live by the philosophy of never giving up even if it is the only option left. I persevere every situation and persist in my quest until my goal or objective is attained. I can also confirm that having the trait has toughened me to journey every situation with re-energized energy and always hoping for the best.
The third character trait is about self-confidence. It includes having faith in oneself, having commitments on my objectives, attracting other people to my goals and knowing how to work with the people. Self-confidence is what makes people work on their ideas without giving much concern to the distractions which may come from the various dimension. Some distractions may be those originating from the pessimists, people who fail to agree about the possibilities of achieving your goal or an objective. The character trait describes my personality based on my ability to be able to accept a compliment, praise, and admiration with much grace that is coupled with self-possession. Self-confidence is also behind my behavior of identifying with people of high ranks and status from reputable institutions. Such identifications are influenced by the aim of acquiring lessons and other means of making it in life.
Conclusion
In summary, character traits form an important part of human life. They differentiate the kind of people that exist in a society and provide us with knowledge on how to address the challenges that we face on a daily basis. The main character traits that define my personality are based on extraversion, persistence and being self-confident. Extraversion explains how sociable I am. It is a trait which may be opined from the high and low dimension. The former fits my case. The other trait is on persistence that gives a person the courage of moving on even if the future is unpredictable. Lastly, the final trait is that of self-confidence and has been justified in the last section of the paper.
