Introduction
Innovation is very crucial for any organization for the betterment of its success in future due to the escalation in human relations from several contexts worldwide. The need to work together with individuals from different areas is predominant in the world. Multiplicity in any place of work should be the obligation of the administration, whether it's a profit-oriented or non-profit organization. According to Farndale, Biron, Briscoe and Raghuram (2015), multiplicity is the recognizing of the alterations in different individuals in terms of race, origin, age, gender, and religion. The administration has to fully comprehend the dynamic to execute and succeed in the workplace. The main aim of the valuation is to get solutions to deal with multiplicity in an innovative manner.
Divergent and Convergent Thinking
Divergent and convergent thinking is not only meant for creativity in the workplace but is an essential tool in day to day activities. In the contemporary form of thought, people tend to ask questions like what notion is possible to resound with our esteemed clients? Which kind of methods can be applied to meet the objectives in the place of work? Whereas diverging is all about constraining the searching of the fresh concepts, good example is a company looking to hire a truck driver, and by chance, a lady is recruited. At some point, she may face some challenges where her ideas and goals can be undermined but she has to learn ways that will make her fit in the workplace just like others (Farndale, Biron, Briscoe & Raghuram, 2015). Therefore, despite the gender, the process of looking for the preferred solution to the current challenge in the workplace must remain same. Divergent involves the process of searching for many solutions possible to handle a situation. When looking for a solution in the organization, the convergent process is not the best; the divergent method is considered to be the best because it gives a variety of options. Therefore, a varied workforce has a significant impact on the success of any organization.
Innovative Solution to Workplace Multiplicity
Generally, a good number of institutions usually stick to the employment regulations when matters concerning diversity in the workplace come handy. When a company has a diverse workforce that comprises different gender, age, religion, and nationality, makes the workers adapt and adjust quickly to the policies put in place by the company on diversity, for example, training programs to the workers and maintaining respect to the recruits. Therefore, barriers that relate to creativity of an organization are always as a result of an internal factor that is highly connected to the myths of innovation.
Change is inevitable; therefore, the primary barrier to creativity is workers are not ready for change. According to Mor- Barak (2015), people do face hindrances due to misconceptions when in the process of formulating solutions. The company needs to develop a plan in order to deal with workplace solutions. The primary purpose of the project is to help the management to minimize the problems and maximize the profits.
Also, the company should implement and identify the challenges of all workers at a personal level than generalizing. By doing this, it helps the particular workers not to feel discriminated. The company should also look for ways of motivating the workers to enhance efficiency in service delivery. According to Mor- Barak (2015), the best way to get solutions to have an impromptu survey to the workers the response got will determine the kind of resolutions and creativity in the workplace.
