Introduction

The Ionithermie treatment is a procedure that uses electric stimuli to get rid of cellulite from the body. The procedure combines the faradic and galvanic stimulation processes to enhance its success. The galvanic stimulation uses electric current to increase blood and lymphatic circulation and soften body cell membranes while the faradic process uses electric current to tone a patient's body muscles, contracts the muscles close together, increases blood circulation and helps reduce the uncomfortable sensation caused by the galvanic stimulation (Sadick, 2018). Essentially, the ionithermie treatment plan will eliminate body cellulite, detoxify the body through the use of the sea and plant extracts, and increase the firmness of the client's skin and improve the patient's muscle and skin tone.

Treatment Period

The whole plan will be done over a period of two months, i.e for six weeks, one visit per week. In this period, the treatment will be reviewed, evaluated and if necessary updated according to the client's and a specialist's objectives and goals.

Products to Use

1146/1 Ionithermie PIA equipment, Ionithermie A & B ampule, blue negative ampule, red positive ampule, 6 gauzes, clay aroma iono mask, 3 kinds of marine algae, Afina gel (slimming gel), Aferligne (toning cream), sucreme (current barrier) and tonic silhouette for cleansing.

Aims

To remove excess cellulite in the body by detoxifying the body, toning the body muscles and cells, improving blood circulation and skin conditions.

Treatment Procedure

Before the treatment, the specialist will prepare both the equipment and products intended for use in the treatment. The specialist will then carry a detailed consultation after the client's arrival which includes asking questions about their health and lifestyle, taking the client's body measurements and recording the client's expected outcome and goal.

The specialist will then instruct the client to remove all necessary clothing to give access to the required body locations for treatment.

The specialist will use the cheek lift and tummy trim layouts to achieve the client's objectives; starting with the cheek lift then the tummy trim.

To start the treatment of the problematic areas (buttocks, abdomen, and thighs), the specialist will strategically place the electrons on those specific areas to facilitate the concentration of the procedure in those areas. The body is then wrapped with a sheet of tissue and the mixture of clay is smeared on the specific part to help conduct the current. The electrode pads are then placed on those particular areas to stimulate the contraction of the skin and body muscles as well as toning and toxins release.

Once the clay begins to harden, the specialist will take control of the ionithermie equipment and put it in the desired temperature. Since this process involves uncomfortable body sensation, like twitching and tingling, the specialist will ensure proper and effective communication process during the treatment period to ascertain and assure the client of their skill and objective achievement.

Post Treatment Procedure

The specialist will allow the client to dress up and later take body measurements. This gives both of them an idea of whether the treatment is productive or not from the answers given by the clients and results from the comparison of pre and post-treatment measurements. Also, the specialist will advise the patient on different ways to improve their health and facilitate the outcome of the treatment. For instance, the specialist may provide options for proper dieting or exercise choices that may help improve the outcome of the treatment based on his experience. Also, the specialist may refer the client to other specialists like dieticians and physical exercise trainers.
